I'm just curious as to what was left behind, sold, traded in, for your Tundra. New to Toyota? Long time Ford, Chevy/GMC, Dodge brainwashed? (Why a Tundra?) Don't be bashful.

I came from a 2009 Tacoma. Great truck. Had 2.7L 4 banger. If it had the V-6????? Glad it didn't. Tundra = POWER

I've owned all "big" three over the years. I like all trucks like you probably do, (like most of us here). IMHO Toyota wins hands down for me. Best Truck!!

Left nothing behind I kept my Tacoma and added the Tundra! The best of both worlds I've got my Wheeler and my town pig.

    I had a 2013 Tacoma with the v6.
I pulled a big load of firewood with the bed loaded and a trailer. The truck acted like it was going to die so Between the lack of power and the prospect of having kids in the future, I opted for the bigger engine and more space.

Had an 06 f250 diesel extracab. We had a son and it became apparent that extended cabs and a kid don't work. Took my Ranger for a tire balance and found a Tundra Crewmax. Kept the Ranger, sold the Super duty and now I'm back to outfitting this truck to my needs.

Can't say it was a trade. Sold the Prius and shortly thereafter bought the Tundra. Prius had 150k miles and ran like the day I drove it off the lot. To be fair, I DID have to spend $97 on a water pump once ;)

That Prius sold me on Toyotas so when it came time to go looking at trucks, the Tundra was a no-brainer. Add to that that my previous Dodge Durango was a piece of....well, you know...

I just remembered that i had a small Toyota P-U somewhere in the line of trucks, long before they were called Tacoma's, very good truck though, but alas it was hit while parked and was totaled.

First the mustang 05 V6 5speed, got it in high school for my first car. A Mini Cooper beat me in a race one time and it was for sell shortly after
Then the GTO 05 6.0liter LS2 V8, fast as hellllll but it was a garage baby. Sold it with 40k miles on it bc I never drove it.
Then the POS 03 Silverado, 6.0 liter, LT 3inch ugly body lift from previous owner 34" tires I think kept it like 7 months.
Then I got my tundra, plan to keep it till I finish my master degree then I'm trading it for a 3rd gen tundra.
Also had an 02 5speed Honda civic, loved that car. Got about 32mpg in town.
