What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

So excited they are joining the Tundra market. I might try to make that bumper work on the 2nd Gen.

 

Tyler and his wife Satin are the best! They are great to have local in San Diego.

 

Except when you live in Santa Cruz. San Diego is tantalizingly close but no way you can just stop in, say hi and pick up a bumper.

 

You can still put on one order, wait for it to be built, say hi and pick up the bumper

Or maybe we can start a Tundras.com shipping network (if it doesn't already exist) and I can drive a bumper up your way next time I'm in the area.

 

I'm still waiting for an N-fab bumper from Black Friday to show up so that I can put your lights in it. The Baja Design lights (unlike my 4wp order) were delivered REALLY fast. But they came in a brown UPS truck and not a blue FJ. I had no idea Pelfrey was gonna make these, I'd have been very tempted to wait.

 

Decided to run up the credit card a little and ordered some Black Rhino Everest wheels. What lug nuts should I order? I want black lugs.

 

Removed chrome badges and hand washed it yesterday, with kids' help

 

Today was the day to .... sand and.......etch prime....and......apply sealer...and............PAINT REAR BUMPER ENDS

 

For a "street" truck that's a great looking wheel. Good choice

I forced my 7-year-old to install my Hypertech Speedometer Calibrator. Despite ordering 1 day on Monday it just arrived today.

Speedometer is perfect again. I honestly don't feel any power loss after installing 34s.. Pretty happy with how everything worked out. =D

 

I sure love that colour! Looks different every time.

Thanks. That's was what i was going for. I wanted something different from all the fake beadlock wheels or fake rivets. I'm not going offroading.

 

I was at the chick-fil-a in Lynnwood, wa yesterday 12-7-17 in the swagger wagon aka my Toyota Sienna with the family and spotted this guy behind me in my side mirror. Looking good man.

 

Ha! Truthfully he mostly just kept track of parts, held the flashlight, and kept me company in the cold garage. He likes to take stuff apart and build so I include him when I do stuff like this. He's only 7 and has dome some pretty impressive Lego and Eitech stuff though.

 

Good for you, Mike! I applaud you for including him. When my son was younger, I did the same thing and sometimes wondered what he retained but now that he is older I find that it paid off. Now we enjoy working together on our project car (2004 GTO) and our trucks (his Tacoma and my Tundra) as well as house maintenance projects. Christmas came early for both of us, so I expect to help him install a winch on his Tacoma during the holidays; I am wimping out and letting the shop install my new TRD Pro shocks...
