you're pretending that they care you're their aunt. you need to embrace crazy dirty auntie. they'll put you on a pedestal and their parents will try to knock you down. would definitely make a lively conversation around christmas supper.

Tell me about it. What happens (in some cases) is they freeze, and wait for someone who’s trained to asssit; or are scared to be involved for liability.
Example: I responded to an unresponsive party in a parking lot, lying face down. I arrived and there was a crowd of 10-15 just starting. We worked on him, no dice unfortunately.

2nd example: Was at the gym training legs and took note of an individual who was doing front squats with heavy weight (315+) while rising on his toes.
A few moments later I heard steel weights falls and noticed him lying on his back. I immediately sprinted over and noticed he was un-conscious. When I yelled at him (in effort to wake him) he regained consciousness. He had a laceration aprx 1” deep by 3” across. I redndered aid and gave directives to several individuals who were standing around just watching as I began talking to him, applying pressure, etc. The Good Samaritan Law would have had me covered, but that thought never crossed my mind, and frankly I wouldn’t care. If someone’s life is on the line, you can bet your sweet ass I am going to help if I am trained, and confident in my abilities to do so.

Morning, folks... I still ride street and some dirt (Always full gear!) seems to be less often these days. :turtleride:

Not at bad as these stories but... My good friend from college wrecked his Harley recently - 3 plates and 10 screws to fix his foot. :itllbuffout:
The kicker is (no pun intended) I've been giving him a bunch of :censored: about not wearing a helmet. Well, thankfully he just so happened to cave recently and purchased a full face helmet. He was wearing it when he crashed and of course it cracked his new helmet and also gave him a concussion.

If you ride, please wear gear and ride smart, defensively and don't be another statistic.

They want to figure out teenage girls. I wish them luck on that one. On a more material side: Gift cards to GameStop (or one of the local video stores), gift cards to an Animé store (if they're into Animé), season passes to Six Flags (if they're also in the DFW area), Clothes and a ride for their first date (as you know, a woman escort driving a large and safe vehicle will make her Mom feel better) along with some Auntly advice, or cash if none of the other ideas pan out.

You don't have to provide the girl, just some good advice on how to not screw up on a date. Think back on your teen years and remember how many boys truly needed some guidance on dealing with girls. Advice from a wise, and cool, Aunt goes a long way.

Yessir. Please pay respects for me while you're there in today's anniversary of Pearl Harbor. I've been to the USS Arizona Memorial in HI and it's as somber of a memorial as I've ever been too.

Lol thank you for the ideas! Yes they are in the DFW area also....they all live with me. The oldest has a girlfriend (which pissed off my youngest..."he didn't ask me if it was ok!") So i thought of getting him a visa gift card for a "date night" (Though his mom or her mom goes with them) and a gift card to game stop. And the younger one (not dating yet....still thinks girls are gross...thank God) a gift card to do what he wants with. I just hate giddy cards because there is no thought process behind them.
