I have decided that I need fender flares. I'm thinking Color Matched although they are about double the price.

I think black would actually look pretty good.. Would tie your front and rear bumper together with your side steps.

You could go either way with the amount of black you have going on.

Black- makes the wheel well look bigger, matches the wheels, bumpers and grill and steps

Color match- well the color matches....

Yep either one will look good. But I must say on my last truck it had black fender flares. And I always kicked myself for not color matching them. So color match is my vote

I just purchased the Bushwacker 30919-02 "Extend-A-Fender" flares last week and was on the fence on painting....

when they arrived I CAREFULLY (didn't install the rubber tape) ....put a screw or 2 in both flares on the pass side to see how it looked.

Accounting for the relatively mild look of my truck and the look of the flares without the trademark screws I decided to have them painted.

Although it hurt the pocket book... I ended up dropping them off at the painter shortly after that. Should have them back Friday....

Debated this myself up until I talked to my Line-X dealer here. I'm going to have them Line-X'd but I was thinking about going premium and color matching my Silver truck. He told me the silver looks like shit on the Line-X, it never comes out quite "right" and even worse in metallic so that clenched it for me i'll just have them done in black Line-X. The other big reason I won't color match is just like on my Tacoma the fender flares are a magnet for asshats to scratch. I'll be doing the flares when I get them, front and rear bumper (rear bumper got tagged already and buffing it out went through the chrome LMFAO so not expected) and my side steps in Line-X.

I would normally say color matched, but.....

You already have black bumpers, wheels, step bars, etc. The picture comparison that @joonbug posted was an excellent comparison. In that picture, color matched look cleaner. In the unmatched picture, now imagine the bumpers black.

I would probably still color match them.

@Buse i wouldn’t stress about it too much, it’s a BA truck and it will look great either way.

OK here you go, give you kind of an idea!

JMO, but I think the black would mesh good with your bumpers

I wouldn’t normally say this but I think I like the black better if you’re going for a tough and aggressive look. If not, then color matched is classier in my opinion

Color coded, no-rivet flares would be my choice if I needed any flares fro my tuck. Wait a minute, my truck is black so it really wouldn't matter.

In all seriousness, I think the color coded flares would look better on the OP's truck.
