Anyone install the TRD dual exhaust? Any benefits? Seems like a lot of money just to have the Truck sound better. Thanks

I did not purchase it but this came on my 2017 TRD Pro and it sounds nice but not sure if I would have bought it if it didn't come with my truck from the dealer. I did add the TRD Cold Air Intake System and it was a nice addition to the exhaust.

I added to my new truck. Not sure if there is any noticeable power increase, but does sound nice. Probably one of the best upgrades I’ve done. But you will go from a quiet cabin to something a bit more nosier.
    The wife absolutely loves it.

I have installed the TRD dual exhaust and I love it. whatever performance hit or gain there may be is negligible. I cant discern any difference. However, the sound is sooo much better. the sound is tame when cruising, but when you get on the throttle, you can really hear and feel it.

I know that there are other systems that are louder and cheaper, but the TRD system has the sound that I was looking for.

here is my installation of it. there are also some videos of the sound.

I installed the trd dual exhaust and i love how it sounds. Not sure of any performance improvement. I am very happy with it. And you can install it yourself. Fo' free.

Over priced in my book. I do not think this is a case where you get what you pay for. It came from the factory on my Tacoma but hard to compare the sound of a V6 to a V8.

Installed it on my truck. Nice sound at cruise (quiet) but any real acceleration was a bit much. I like quiet tho. Took it back off and now giving some thought to reinstalling.

Performance wise I could be convinced it gives up some low end and feels a bit snappier mid range.

I got the TRD exhaust back in 2011 (before they were called TRD Pro exhaust). This is my favorite mod. It makes me smile every time I start up the truck. If I were to get a new Tundra, this will be one of the first mods that will go on it.

When I was looking for my Tundra, I drove a new one with a factory installed TRD Pro Exhaust. I think the sound was perfect and like the all SS construction so I will be adding one to my Tundra ASAP.

Love my TRD dual. Best upgrade in my book. Not too loud, just right, and looks bada$$. Sometimes - when driving - I just turn the radio off and listen.

I installed it on my 2007 using a fitment kit from @dirtydeeds. Absolutely loved the sound. When I bought my 2017 I made sure it had it from the factory. Probably wouldn't have another Tundra without it.

I installed a Magnaflow stainless steel muffler, 2 in and 2 out with black powder coated tips, sounds just like a TRD system for a fraction of the cost

    None. Keeping this one stock.
I had one since 2011. On 2 Trucks. Swapped from a 2012 to a new 14. Traded 14 in on a stock 18. I prefer the stock 18. Noticeable gain in low end. But. I did love the exhaust.

My truck came with the TRD exhaust. Was too tame for me. I replaced it with the Flowmaster Outlaw system which I prefer.

Agreed! I went to go have mine changed and the guy said I’d be stupid to change it because as far as quality stands - it’s better than most.

Theres no difference between the exhaust from previous years, he probably just hasn't updated his website to include 2018 model year. I think 2007-19 is the same exhaust.

My 18 Has Trd exhaust which came installed from factory and it sounds ok.Also had BA budget system on my 2014 and loved it but if i was shopping for a new exhaust right now i would probably go for dirtydeeds true duals aluminased as my previous one was rusting pretty bad especially around bolt on seams.

I had them put on at the dealer when buying the truck and couldn’t be happier. To me, it’s the perfect sound. Nice throaty rumble when you want, and quiet when cruising, but you know it’s there. Kind of the old mans’ dual exhaust. Definitely turns heads when you want.
