I'm new to tundras but not new to trucks or modding them. However this is my first tundra and Toyota so I'm excited to get started. Unlike some of you I don't have any great big plans for this truck like I have on past vehicles. But I figured this would be a way for me to keep track of mods, changes and progress.
2016 trd pro. Previous owner did the following: rock warrior wheels with 285 70 17 duratracs (Will be for sale soon), wet okole heated seat covers (will be for sale soon), magnum running boards (Will be for sale soon), coachbuilder +2 shackles and oem tundra exhaust.
Things I have already done or have bought: stubby antenna, changed over to all usb ports inside, console organizer and tray.
Future plans, but not limited too : method 18" wheels with 285 70 ridge grapplers, 1 coachbuilder shim up front, some sort of retrofit projector headlight, amp steps, tint ect...
Hope you guys enjoy and I'll update with pics and info as I get to it.

    mods to date:
    18x9 +25mm method NV wheels
    295 70 18 toyo open country at2 tires
    coach builder +2 shackles
1 coach builder shim up front
AMP research power steps (best mod is you have kids)
    debadged
vinyl inlays for "tundra" and "trd pro"
    18% ceramic window tint
timbren ses kit for towing, wheelers super bumps for DD
TRD air flow accelerator and TRD air filter
    antenna source 6 3/4 antenna
    esp under seat rear storage
    oem audio+ reference 450q system
    salex console tray and organizer
    rx350 retrofit
    raptor lights
    rigid dot fogs
    rigid PRO sr 30"

good catch sir. a 94 cobra but that was many moons ago. ive been through a bunch since. latest is a 700hp 03 cobra

im sure. ive been involved in modding cars and trucks for about 20 years. this will be one of the most modest set ups compared to the rest

i sure will. unfortunately it will be a package deal though, ill have now use for them once the wheels are gone

thanks for all the compliments guys!

It needs a few changes/upgrades but it's not bad start. Wheels, tires and tint will make a huge difference. Soon enough

Welcome. RW wheels look at home on the pro. Should have come like this from the factory. But that would cost Toyota more than just painting sr5 wheels black I guess... good luck and keep us updated!

nothing terribly exciting but i did add a few small things so far.
did the salex console organizers. what a god send as far as keeping everything in order. i love the size of the console but after a few days it was so full of crap i couldnt stand it. now everything has a place. they tray is great too. my f150 had one from the factory and i really liked it
next i did the stubby antenna. nothing worse than a crazy tall antenna. went with 6 3/4 one from the antenna source. so far so good. not the shortest but its doing its job and it looks good
and lastly i swapped the interior power sources to dual usb outlets. this will be useful for both my wife and i and for the kids on long trips to keep the tablets going
ill get some pics up after the weather clears but im sure you guys have seen these mods before ;)

A couple of more things added, and some removed, to the PRO.
After doing the console storage I knew I needed the ESP rear under seat storage. Great fit and quality. My only disappointment was that it doesn't fit my tool box that I've had in all my previous F series trucks. I need to find somewhere for that.
Next was the one audio + reference 450q system. Wow! My wife has jbl premium in her 4runner and there is zero comparison. One of best sounding systems I have heard. My last f150 had a full kicker vehicle specific system and I think this one sounds better. Can you build a better system, of course. But this one is balanced right out of the box and everything works together.
And lastly I debadged her. As much as I love the black emblems they are just too hard to clean around. Not to mention it just looks cleaner with out anything.
    Here are some pics

Today I tackled the anytime fog light mod. Followed the instructions I've seen on here and all went smooth. It's not going to do much at the moment with factory fogs but I have a few things in the works as far as lighting goes.

Like everyone else here I couldn't stand the chrome cup holders and shifter trim on the interior so I decided to try wrapping it. I'm a big fan of carbon fiber so I gave it a shot and I think it turned out great.
Obviously the shifter trim isn't wrapped. I tried a few times and I don't think it's possible. When I went to do the inside there just isn't enough material left to get all the way down and cover all the chrome. So after thinking about it I used lens tint paint and it matches the rest of the black perfectly. Overall I'm happy with how it turned out. I just need to finish off the theme and do the rest of the interior.
I used vvivid wrap, stuff is the shit

On the first night driving my tundra home I knew I needed to do something about the lighting. so that was the first big mods on my list. i started looking to see what i wanted and what would look and work the best. i considered the 18 led set up but think the retrofit give better performance. i also looked a baja designs and know alot of folks here love there stuff (and rightly fully so), but i couldnt get past the fogs not being dot compliant
for starters i went with a rx350 retrofit. 35w ballast, 5.5k bulbs, platinum housings, led drl strip and switchback, panamera led shrouds. set up is very nice and has great output. i may swap over to a 55w ballast in the future (this is what i had on my last retrofit and it was nice).
next i went with some rigid dot legal fogs. the are wide as F and have great cutoff. the color matches the headlights pretty good too. the rigid brackets leave a little to be desired so there is a gusset welded in to help them out. made a huge difference is stability. i have an adapter harness to plug directly into the factory fog harness
i came from a ford (i know i know) so having raptor lights is second nature to me. so i wired in 3 amber led's in the grill thanks to @BlueBottle Love them or hate them i think they add a nice touch up front. they are tapped into the side markers and i added quick connects to be able to remove the grill easily
and lastly if all else fails and i dont have enough light i added a rigid 30" sr30 PRO in the lower grill. this thing is insane, not sure ill ever use it but its nice to have. thing has over 21k lumens. i cant even look at it unless its about a block away
i want to give a huge thanks to @inferno_pro_satx for helping with the headlight wiring and the anytime fog light mod. answered all my text and made it super easy
ill be sure to grab some night time shots and with output soon. enjoy the pics!

I used the rigid brackets. The light is sturdy and install was straight forward. Trimmed the lower grill and slipped the brackets in then tightened them from the bottom. I did have a slight rub from the driver bracket on the lower radiator support. I took a socket extension and dented it in slightly and now it's all good. Apparently it's pretty common after I searched
Pic is hard to tell but that us the rub spot

Nothing too fancy but here it is, painted red calipers to go along with the rest of the red the PROs have. Used a brush on caliper kit off Amazon. For $20 I don't think it looks too bad. Ideally I would have done powder but I can afford to pull the calipers and be down for a week. So this was my best option. Time will tell how they hold up. Tundra calipers are actually a nice set. Before and after shot

Thanks fellas. I think it's coming together nicely.
Next on my list is the wheel and tire combo. I a little torn here. Do I stick with the RW wheels and get a 285 75 17 tire or do I switch over to and 18" wheel (method nv) and some sort of 34" a/t tire?
I like the idea that the RW is forged but I love the look of the NV especially in 18", plus it comes in a +25 offset. Decision decisions
