There's a thread where someone used Chromecast, which is basically the same thing but with the stock one. Should be a lot easier with an aftermarket one.

I just got home from my work after a few months, was going to install a beat-sonic mirroring unit till I stumbled on the Phoenix HU. For a plug and play mirror device beat-sonic would be my choice.

I mirrorcast using the google chrome on my home tv..but as long as you have a HDMI input it should work no matter what the output device is.. And assuming the phone supports mirror casting...have found Samsung phones work the best when it comes to miracasting

Great thank you. So now it's clear to me. I have placed the order for USB to hdmi input as suggested on one YouTube video. I have Samsung GALAXY S8 plus

But also device (anycast) I got have option for iPhone mirroring. Hopefully all will work fine.

Sure I will soon as I finish. Once I get all parts available and should be delivered during the week.

Keep in mind there is an issue w/ the newer android phones (Samsung S8) unable to mirror using the Phoenix HU. Personally I have been unsuccessful and I know of another member as well.

if going wireless, you'll also need some sort of wifi in your truck in order to mirror your phone through the chromecast/apple tv/etc. There are couple threads on this, one has part #'s and everything you need. might be over on tundratalk

A couple of years ago I bought this and I been very happy with the flexibility of different uses..
    https://m.ebay.com/itm/HooToo-Wirel...ger-with-USB/182918571328?hash=item2a96cbe540

This will work as a local router and connect up to four different devices.. Or tether it to your phone and up to four devices can use your cell data. Any usb storage connected on the usb port becomes a network drive for those four devices. Is also a backup battery..
