Gave her a fresh coat of fluid film today before they start dumping salt every time they mention the word snow.

Yeah I haven’t heard a bad word about these from anyone really. Was a happy surprise to find the mountain/snowflake symbol actually on the sidewalls too. There were a lot of conflicting descriptions on that feature.

Washed her, shined the tires, and did a quick exterior detail with Adams Pumpkin Spice detail exterior detail spray. My trucks body smells just like it haha

The crew cab under the seat is not solid. You have to cut into the foam below the seats to install.

Haha well it’s not the 51% that controls the prices! Haha I liked the Mich LTX/AT2’s that came on the truck, lasted me 58k, but they weren’t good enuff for the price tag.

Underseat storage requires cutting the floor to make it fit. ESP is the company that makes the bins. I personally haven’t done it but it does look pretty straightforward.

198/tire at town fair. $2 away from tire rack. First time at town fair and it wasn’t too bad.

I can't tell from your post (or profile) if you're saying YOU have a 2018 DC, or asking if these pics portray one-? I have a 2017 DC, which has shallow underseat storage. By reading all over this forum, I know that CM cabs don't have storage under the seat.

Obviously, don't do something you're not comfortable doing. That said, a LOT of people have done this mod with none reporting problems or regrets. As you can see in the pics, ESP provides a real-size template (looks like you secure it to seat bolts in flooring to mark everything, which ensures your cuts are exactly where they need to be). If you decide to try it and have questions, you could jump on here and get pretty rapid answers to get you back on track. I hope you go ahead, and good luck!

Can you tell me why you chose White Knuckel sliders over, say, SDHQ or the group interest option for BAMF ? Was it price alone? They do look good!, but I'll select sliders to protect my frame only-- least attention getting is best for me-- so the only preference I have look-wise, is that they are as close to the frame as possible (little or no extra for step).

I have it mind to save up for SDHQ but definitely would like to know what any of you know about how these 3 compare? I like what I've read about SDHQ being strong w/o weight, extending all available length of frame, attaching to existing w/o drilling.

I've avoided the temptation to ask on the BAMF feeler thread so as not to be disrespectful, but sure will appreciate honest opinions from those of you that know.

I’ve seen Sdhq in person and they are/look incredibly strong and angle up for more door protection. Can’t speak to white knuckle but BAMF makes incredible products. Can’t go wrong with them either. Now, just put looks and preference in your hat, shake it up, and draw a name

I had the auto tailgate lock installed today. Did not get any pictures, but it works great. Got it done for cheaper than the pop n lock. It's nice not having to use my key to get into the bed anymore.

Where’d you have it done? I’m surprised to hear it was cheaper than the pop-n-lock.

I had it done here in San Antonio. The San Antonio Tundra Crew had a guy from DFW come down that makes them and he installed them.
