You didn't buy CPO from Toyo did you? If so they are supposed to replace brakes if worn and rotors.

Where can I find details on this? I bought mine CPO and don’t recall anything about brake/rotor coverage as part of the gig.
I’ve passed my 12mo/12000 mi unlimited but still within my 7yr 100k power train warranty.

Here PF. If less than 50 % they are supposed to put new on. I bought my 14 in Feb of 2017 w 25k miles. Had toyo mt 35s that I immediately switched for nitto terras 35s. While it was lifted with all tires off walked around with mechanic and checked brakes and rotors. All were brand new. Brakes are 10mm new and won't pass inspection/need changed at 3mm from what I understand. You can pop a tire off and see if you can tell what you have left by eyeballing it. If you've had your truck over 12 months tho don't think this would be applicable. I downloaded the checklist when I was buying. Got them to pay for the front end alignment when I got the new tires. Its not required unless vehicle doesn't track properly on test drive. Mine needed it and I did notice it wasn't tracking quite right on the way to get the new tires.:spy::hattip:

    Thanks!!
Bought my 14 in August of 16 with 40k on it.
I’d have to look at where my brakes are. I think in the 5-6mm range. So who knows. May get them to do the brakes at the next 5k rotation.
I wonder if they’d help with labor if the wheels/tires are already off.

I need jack stands. Im no wrencher or gear head but I’m pretty confident I could do this with YouTube university’s help.

Shouldn't be a problem for you to DIY. Close to 50k I'd do the rotors and all since you'll have the calipers off already. Then you're solid on starting point for brakes since it was pre owned. Painted caliper mod?

My truck has almost 100k on it already....so I would prefer to do the rotors. Not sure I'll paint the calipers but I've been thinking about it.

That's a lot of miles young lady. Nice to know I'll be in the 100k club eventually. At 29k now and only do about 6 or 7k annually. Its going to be awhile. If your going 20s or 22s on rims I'd do the caliper mod. 18s...meh. Also rim style if it has a lot of negative space. I know that's on your to do list, lift rims tires. Following to see what you end up with for brakes/rotors.

I won't go 22s....i think they are gross (my opinion and i respect those who like them...just not my style) 20s are the biggest I'll go. but i can't even find something i i really like in wheels right now anyways....so until i do my mod find will keep growing

Rims are tough. I looked earlier this month because I was feeling impulsive. Didn't see anything that was that much better than what I have now. The search continues. Also 22s on 35s Don't look right to me either. Like a little more rubber.

Yup. Good to spend around $200 a rim if you are keeping your truck long term. Then you can sell every 2 or 3 years for 3 or 400 and get a new set to keep your truck feeling fresh. Did that on my 08 tundra dc and it got rid of the "trade my truck" urge.

This truck is only my 4th (4 wheeled) vehicle I've ever owned. I plan on keeping her a long time. My oldest has said she would like to have a truck like mine when she can drive.....i might sell it to her when she can drive. we will see though.
