I ordered the motocontrol relay from the retrofit source for $40 shipped and the plug n play harness from DMV-slightwork on tundra crew FB forum for $150 shipped. There's a few options on harness depending on your trim level

I'm aware of 2 individuals on this forum selling PnP harnesses for the '18 LED headlights. @eledobleu and @iHacker

Hey everyone newer to the forums. Ive been keeping an eye out for this conversion and plan to make an order in December when the school quarter wraps up. Ive had 55w HIDs and now Flux LED headlights in my SR5. The flux are just a touch less luminous at than the HID but after about a week I couldn't see the difference. One thing I love about the LEDs is the zero warm up time, no failures to ignite, and the retained high beam which is why I'm even more excited for these 2018 headlamps. I've been looking all over google and youtube for a review or short video of the LED headlamps down a dark road. I really want to see how well they function for being OEM... and because you can't really upgrade later. Is anyone willing to shoot a short video or snap a few picture from the driver seat that has completed the conversion, so myself and maybe a few others can see how much light these 2018 headlamps produce when your driving at night? I'd really appreciate it :) Thanks everyone so far for all the informational posts. Drooling over here over some of those mods y'all done on some of those tundras!

Joined this forum just for these - I have been looking at other options and came across this thread, so glad I did... I love the look and am ready to pull the trigger on these + fogs, but am I going to LOVE these? All said and done, is it worth $1000 (which is cheaper than going with a 2018 Platinum)?

Everyone seems happy with them, but is there anyone that regrets their decision?

    It shouldnt be $1000.
The lights shipped are about $600
    The harness is about $200
    = $800
Then if you want, you can sell your stock headlights --- $150 to $300ish depending on location and type of Lights.

So far, I do not see any negative responses or reviews with the 2018 LEDs. Everyone loves em.

When you add the LED fogs, it brings it to $1000, but I didn't think about selling the old ones! Thanks!

I haven't looked yet, but I'm a little surprised that with the 2018 option, there would be a market for my 2014 Platinum lights...

Oh yes, I forgot about the fogs.
    You'll be surprised.
The price of the 2nd hand headlights has definitely gone down as the market is flooded with them from people upgrading to the 2018s but there is still a demand.

I have a 2017 SR5 CM 4X4, I am ordering the Toyota LED headlight with black housing and fog lights, What is the best PNP harness for my truck and who has them!

Is that all I need to for me to do the install, led lights, fogs and harness? Do I need to cut wires or level headlights, I remember some said one side is not level!

    Thanks

When they say black housing, do they mean the plastic lens is smoked or the frame is black and the chome housing?

Is the lens on each the same meaning clear and neither have a tint to the lens!

I just want the clearest and brightest light coming from them and if ones a smoked lens it would be less bright!

Any pictures of each side by side, the black housing and the chrome!

    Sorry for confusion

    Thanks

    Thanks for that video

What lights did you get the chrome or blacked housing, still trying to figure out if both have a clear lens and not tinted on the black housing ones!

Mine are the black housing. Neither Have a smoked lens. The smoke they are speaking of is the chrome that is smoked.
