P0101 is the mass air flow circuit.
What type of what did the dealer do? If it came right on after the dealer, why not take it directly back?

Its a recall (limited service campaign BST.update ECM software, install smart stop technology OP code ELSBOS) I did took my truck to the dealer they said they replaced the mass airflow sensor but the warning light kept coming back on. I took it every day for 5 days, after the 5 th day they told me that the fuel pump needed to be replaced but the code was always the same, I dont really know how they came up with this.does the fuel pump have anything to do with this code?

That's super weird... but how they came up with a fuel pump I didn't know. Unless they are seeing it running lean. Faulty a/f ratio sensors could cause the ecu to think the maf is bad too.... especially if theyreplaced the maf and it didn't change anything. Gotta look outside the box.

Kinda strange timing that it only did it after they did the update.

Not really... shit like this happens all the time. I change your oil and next week your rear diff blows up. So immediately customers suspect I did somthing.... coincidences happen alot when working with machines

They will call me today to let me know what they found this time, I hope they dont keep with the same bs about replacing the fuel pump, do you think a low pressure will cause this warning light to come on?

It could cause issues yes. But if they stick with that story, ask them why it didn't set a lean code?
