Truck is looking awesome. I'm still debating weather order the Tundra Pro wheels from my local dealership. They quoted me $428 for each wheel and $65 each for the ornament sub assy, whatever that is. And there are still tires to think about :annoyed:. But I really love those OEM wheels!!!

Yeah I'm not much of a fan of factory offsets that's why i went aftermarket and hell I payed $2300 for 4 wheels and 35" Toyos that's like getting three tires free with the Pro wheels!

I'm not sure what wheels you currently have. I have the 14+ TRD wheels (black/silver), when my tires wear out I will powder coat the wheels and buy the TRD Pro center caps. If you don't have the TRD wheels you can probably pick up a used set to do the same.

I retrofitted mine and color matched them to MGM and painted the bezel flat black... they look amazing! To get mine apart I tried 250°F for 10 minutes and they wouldn't budge. Moved the temp up to 275°F for 10 minutes and they came apart perfectly, and I even left the automatic level motor attached.

Thanks it's katskin Leather but after looking at it more it's the wrong pattern. I wanted a different style still trying to work that out.

Yeah I've been reading about the permaseal housings for most 270 to 275 is the magic number with these.

I got stuck babysitting a powder oven late this afternoon so I installed my TRD exhaust less then 30 min super easy installation. Here is a sound clip of before and after I know video doesn'tdo much but it sounds great! Very quiet at idle but deep at WOT and not too much of a drone at highway speed.

I did pull over because of the smoke it was a lot! Turns out it was just burn off from the inside the muffler but it was a lot so I stopped.

I'm on the fence about trying to retrofit my headlights myself. I would go with products from TRS but I'm a bit apprehensive about the cutting, aiming, etc.

I tackled the Katskins today about 4 hours five cut fingers and some Fucks here and there but they are in and look awesome!

    20151107_122826.jpg

Some shots of the work involved. It's definitely a DIY project it just takes time and all the stamped steel in the seats is not deburred hence the 5 cut fingers! I also found that Toyota forgot 3 hog clips in the seats they would of gotten all loose over time.

I found out that the 2016 Tundra head rests are fully closed up and they spray expanding foam in the head rests it's all attached to a fabric. So removing the fabric just can't happen without destroying them.
I just did the bag method with the shop vac and shrunk them down to fit the leather over all of it.

    Oh one or two.
I finally had a chance to do the retro on the truck. I'll start off by saying if this is your first retro fit I don't recommend it. The perma seal is rock solid I mangled up the first light trying to pry on it but cleaned it up with a heat gun after. I found that 268 to 270 degrees for about 12 to 16 minutes worked best now let me note I have a powder coating oven thats tells me exactly what the temperature is inside so your standard household oven might not do as well and you could melt your lights having hot spots. It took about 2 hours to get them open maybe a little less.
    My oven.
    20151226_102337.jpg

The 270 dergree temp heated the housing just enough that the perma seal just stayed on the lense. It took about 4 heat cycles to get them apart. I used a heat gun and razor to peel away the perma seal after they were split.
    20151226_123651.jpg
    20151229_121545.jpg
The mangled edge it is going to happen you really can't get around it is heated and formed it back in place after you can't really even tell any more. This one was the first one and I didn't heat it as much as I should of. The other one came out much better.

    20151226_120017.jpg

    20151226_120022.jpg

Here is a quick breakdown of the tools used.
    Clean new gloves.
    20151226_103000.jpg

Panel removers screwdriver and box cutter.
    20151226_110915.jpg

Three different types of JB weld. Clear for the halos and shrouds. The stick for mounting the projectors and the standard kwik weld to seal up the back after the projector was mounted.
    20151228_124237.jpg

Paint of your choice as well as all the supplies you need for painting.
    20151228_090523.jpg

And the business morimoto FX 3.0 projectors.
    20151228_090536.jpg

The reflector painted Matt black and cut for the projector. I opted to leave the reflectors in place as I couldn't find a way to remove them without damaging them so the projector isn't as deep as I would of liked ithe also the head light adjuster might of became an issue with a larger hole cut.
    20151228_090600.jpg

I color matched the shrouds and bezel and mounted halos behind the shrouds and strips above the projectors.
    20151228_090607.jpg
    20151228_124250.jpg
    20151228_115402.jpg

Once all the painting was done in mounted the housings back in the truck and set the projectors in place with the JB weld stick.
    20151228_162005.jpg

I then gooped on the JB to the back side to seal up the projector and lock it in for good! After that I sealed up the housing with the retro rubber heating the lights to 265 for 7 min and smashing them together. The Tundra lights have screws holding the housing together so no clamps were needed I just set the screws in wile hother and it pulled everything together.
    20151228_161952.jpg
    20151226_101617.jpg
Now for the reward! I spent 3 days total on the project most of that was paint drying.
