So just curious those out there that can still park their tundra in the garage with a lift and tire setup... Care to share setup :)

My garage doors are 8’ High, so no issues over here.

With all the different sizes of garage door openings I would suggest park with roof under door and measure from top of truck to lowest entry point. Do the math and lift and tires accordingly. Gobble gobble.

    7 footer and I fit with a 3” lift and 35s.
Antenna drags against the entrance but that’s it.

You can cut the antenna down and glue the cap back on. I did that on my Tacoma and still retained decent reception.

Sweet. I don’t even really use the am/fm so even if I did lose some reception, wouldn’t really be an issue.
    I’ll give it a shot.

stopped the antenna from dragging by installing a shorter antenna.

I have a 7 foot door but when open it only has 6'6" of clearance. Our driveway is fairly steep and the garage door sits right at the top of the driveway. I know with this height opening it will be close but I'm thinking the cab wouldn't get close due to the angle of the truck coming up into the garage. I'm not a tundra owner yet so looking for opinions/ideas.

Ideally I'd like to get a crewmax 4x4 and lift the front only. Tires will most likely be 285/70/18's. What you guys think? Tacoma is not an option

Thanks guys. Happy turkey day :hungry:.

I'm on the same boat. I want bigger tires but I want my truck in garage as well.

5" lift 20x12 fuel with 35" nitto ridge graplers. Full led and secaine 9" android head unit.

This is with a Rough country 4.5" lift 20x12 wheels 35x12.50 tires it fits in my 7' x 16' garage door with 1.5" to spare with roof to header. I am about to convert to the 6" lift so i may not be able to get it in the garage at that point.

    hope this helps.

I have a 4" lift with 35's and a 7' garage door with about 3" to spare....my garage sits up about a foot from the alley so the angle might have something to do with it.

I have a 8’ door. Just bought 7” bds lift, wondering if my truck will fit now?

Nope. This is a 7’ door fitting a 3/2 level lift on a Tundra with 35s and Firestone Ride Rite air suspension on #5

The big issue with clearing a 7’ door is if you have a shark fin antenna or not.

If you smack that shark fin, you'll be looking at some coin to replace it plus a weirdly dented roof.

With 3" lift and 35" tires I could still (barely) get under the 7ft door opening in our house garage.
We've since built a detached 30x40 2-story garage with 12ft doors... so my truck (with 37's now) goes out there and the wife has claimed the house garage for herself.
