quick question....if you were due cash back from Toyota, about how long did it take to receive it? Been over two months on 2017 purchase and no word. Also no dealer feedback form from Toyota either.

If it's written on your paperwork, get the pitch forks and torches. If not...well you're not getting it.

I called to check on it. Received call back today. Some of the quotes from the call..." we're all over it.."...."Wow...Toyota Corporate must've made an error.."...We'll get to the bottom of this because customer satisfaction is #1 with us"...."Can't understand how this happened.."...on and on.
I said fine...if I don't hear back, I'll call Toyota Corporate myself and forward them the paperwork re; the rebate.

Within 30 minutes...I get this email from the dealership. Here's part of it:

"I was able to research it and figured out that Toyota has paid us the $1,500 by mistake and it hadn’t come up on our schedule yet because it wasn’t figured into your purchase. I’m getting a check cut and mailed to you by Friday. I apologize for the delay.

Please let me know if I can do anything else for you."

The same old dealership tricks. The only thing that's changed over the years is that they now have free bananas and better coffee.

Sneaky little shits. Im wondering how bad it’s going to be when I try to get the platinum warranty money back from buying my wife’s Camry almost 6 years ago. They said if I didn’t use the warranty, they give you the money back. For some reason I’m not thinking it will be that simple...
