Has anyone replaced the middle section of their Gen3 DC bench seat with a real console?

@Roman is this possible? Does the OEM CM console even fit?

I guess it's possible, though I haven't heard of anyone doing this. You'd probably have to find a wrecked Tundra and yank the parts out of it.

Well, when Roman tells me to Go Fishing in a junkyard there's probably a slim chance the part can be ordered

Yes and no. Yes, I can get everything, but a lot of it comes separately so you may not want to order it all. Might be more economical to trade the truck in. :D

That's a really good idea. My markup for all the mods will be 20% over retail. Will Cool Springs be willing tho go down that road if I mention you said it was a good idea?

Maybe? I don't usually fraternize with the salesman, though.

I have the bench seat in mine and was disappointed that you don’t get the power front seats w it. I was actually thinking of looking for a wrecked one w the power seats and putting those in mine.
I’m assuming all the wiring is there, just have to plug seats in.
I like having the extra seat in the middle, just in case, and being able to put my foot on the transmission hump on long road trips. Just to change positions from time to time.
I prefer having the shifter on the steering column, even though it’s a little long.

Alma, let me know if you come across a wrecked one for the console, I might be willing to take a drive for some seats.
