Set him up. He can do a review on here once he has some miles on it. You get what you pay for is a saying for a reason. Is he doing 35s? So 12 to 1400 for tires. Maybe 800 to 1000 for rims and he wants to put it all on a 600 dollar lift. Hmmmm. o_O
If he's doing a street queen he'll probably be fine I would think. He can always upgrade later.

I'm hoping they get a good response with the re-release of Titanic and other movies end of this year that they start bringing back more of them. I'd love to see quite a few in the theater.

I put this exact lift (4” Rough Counrty Lift) on my truck because of the expense associated with my wheels and tires. I talked to the guys at the place that installed everything and they said it would ride fine. But I’m also a “street queen” lol. If it doesn’t work out for some reason, I’ll upgrade but for now I’m rolling with this kit. I agree though it may not be for off road use but I don’t plan on going off road so it will work for me.

Oh and just to let you all know the ride seemed good but haven’t driven my truck much since I have it torn apart adding new parts :)

I’ll update my review after I get more miles on it!

Anybody else notice the bald ass tires in the video? I'm sorry but its the little things that make or break a sale. It may be the best budget lift kit going but damn at least make the infomercial look like its not a broke ass bitch that's going to be buying it.:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

I have the rough country 3" lift struts, really like them, rides smoother than stock. I plan to upgrade next year when I get the $. I didn't want to do spacer lift due to the ride quality.

I have this kit installed. Let me give you me 2 cents.

Reason: So, I lifted my truck as tall as I could because I have to park in a downtown parking garage. Right now with lift(i got a little more than 4") and 35" tires, I'm just about 1.5" shy from the lowest points and exits in the garage. Also a slight concern with price since I bought wheels and tires at the same time. I looked at the Procomp 4" bracket lift which I thought it was too much for a procomp and a bracket lift at that height. I'm not looking to go off-roading. I'm just wanting to stay high and dry. Hurricane Harvey did a toll to my area... 25" of rain in 5 hours...

Review: The ride quality is honestly not that bad. I've had lifted vehicles before and this does retain some of the factory ride, the preload spacer doesn't help. The tires might be the ones helping though. The kit quality is not ideal. The kit requires you to cut the bottom of the top hat of the strut assembly which is something I'd preferred to not had modified. The kit does not include spacers for the sway bar to drop like the ReadyLift kit so that you can retain the factory sway bar without stress on the end links. The install instructions is complete shit. Rough Country half assed the install instructions which I followed word by word I noticed it was missing a number of steps. I installed this with my brother and power tools since I've installed a number of suspension installs in the past but nothing this annoying. I wished RC would have showed a little more effort with the kit. Yes it is less expensive than most kits but this one shows the side of RC that everyone talks trash about. For me, the kit is already installed and I'm not about to redo my suspension all over again. If I could go back in time, I'd would have picked the ReadyLift 4" lift for the same height.

tl;dr: Kit lacks quality. RC half assed it. Ride feels pretty good. Should have gone with ReadyLift. Truck is lifted and purdy.

    Specs:
    Rough Country 4" lift (4"/2.5")
    20x9 +12 Fuel Maverick
    35x12.5x20 Goodyear Duratrac
