Platinum/1794 wheels powdercoated black

Looking for advice/pictures from anyone that's powdercoated their platinum/1794 20 in wheels in black? The 2018 Sequoia trd sport wheels(below) look sharp but they're pricey. Can the center caps be powdercoated? Or if I order the Sequoia trd sport center caps will it match black powdercoated wheels? Thanks.

 

I powdercoated mine satin black. Came out real nice! The center cap is plastic so it can't be powdercoated but a rattle can spray paint in satin black will take care that.

 

How has your Satin PC been holding up? My wheels (TRD Off Road) are in the process of getting PC'd. I went with gloss black though. I'm curious how it will hold up.

Those look great. How much did it cost you to have them done?

I wonder if they could tape off the "outer parts" of the 20in platinum wheel and just powder coat everything from there back in black similar to the trd wheels?

They told me about a week. It was a week yesterday, so hopefully soon.

I'll post some up when I get them. @Borgs already had his done with a matte black finish, which looks amazing.

 

Update! They are ready for pickup.

 

The pc guys can do some amazing things, so I am sure it can be done. Could get pretty pricey though. My wheels were about $80 a piece if I recall. I just had my TRD Off-Roads powdercoated matte black.
P.S. This pic was just after a wash and tire shine was applied - so they are shinier than normal.

This is what they normally look like when tire shine isn't applied to tires and inevitably, oversprays on the wheels as well.

 

I had them done back in March and they are holding up well.

 

The pc shop charged me $50 a rim.

 

These all black wheels look great! I just wish they made them in 20"

 

just have your stock 20" wheels powder coated! that's what i did.

 

Just curious...could they powder coat the regular TRD wheels without sandblasting and the powder coat just stick to the bare metal part or does it have a protective coating that would prevent sticking? I think it may look really cool to just change the metal part to a different color...

I love this idea! I almost did this to my wheels before buying the TRD Pro wheels. I think its a great alternative.

Does anyone know if the center cap TRD pro wheels fit in the 20” rims for the platinum/1794 rims.
It be a interesting look. I do like the center caps.

 

I think I've seen the trd pro center caps on 20in wheels. I"ll see if I can find a picture.
