My family and I (no kids all 21+) will be going to Vegas late November to early December and staying at the Vdara. There will be 4 of us and 1st time for everyone. Anyone have tips on what to do and what to avoid? Just want to get the best experience for my family. Also, I have signed up for the Mlife rewards if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!!!

    DOs:
    - Go see Absinthe at Caesar's - A little pricey but soo worth it. Funny as hell

    Donts:
    - Don't look the creepy street performers or club promoters on the strip in the eye. You will never get rid of them

    Tips:
    - Go to walgreens or CVS on the strip and stock up on bottle water. This way when you wake up the next morning and realize you drank all your water your not forced to drink tap or the $23 hotel bottles.
    - If you think you smell a skunk. It's not a skunk.

    Don’t:
Buy bottles water on the strip. All time scam- they pretend to “crack the seal” for you when in actuality, they are filling used bottles with tap water and pretending it’s fresh.

You're talking about from a random dude with a cooler on the strip right? I would think this is common sense but there are suckers everywhere

Vdara is nice. If I remember correctly they have a small kitchen in the room... I believe it was Aria that didn't even have a refrigerator. WTF? And Vdara is connected to the little tram that connects to a couple of the neighboring hotels. You're going to use it at night when it's 2* outside.

They are good but pricey. Go around the end of lunch so you pay lunch prices. Eat some, hang out for a couple hours and have some drinks. Then when they start bringing out the dinner stuff go nuts!!

Like other members said, Absinthe is the best show of the strip in my opinion.. o stead of going to ceasars and buying tickets, you can go and look around the strip.. they sell tickets in booths for all shows. Cheaper than paying at ceasars..

There are a few CVS and Walgreens around.. buying water is a good idea..

My favorite Buffet are at the:
    M Resort
    Wynn Buffet

Cosmopolitan has the best restaurants in my option.. :

    Scarpetta
    STK

Sushi : stay of the strip.. rip off.. go to Musashi. Right around the corner for sushi.. also late night revers happy hour!!!! BOMB!!!!

Walk around the T Mobile Arean Area.. lots of bars, restaurants, games. Good time in there..

Downtown Las Vegas is a good time.. after 9pm. Gold Spike is a cool bar and game spot.. lots of bars in the streets around there.. Oak & Ivy is an awesome Cocktail bar located in the Container Park.. Really Cool area..

STRIP CLUB: Crazy Horse 3.. :amen::bowdown:

Any other questions , just ask.. hv fun

If any of you like golf, you GOTTA go to Top Golf, it's awesome. Great place to chill, have drinks and food, as well as swing the clubs in your own private cabana type area. They have 3 floors, and the top is for 21 and over only, so cool. You can even take your bathing suit as they have a pool/lazy river. Lots of tv's, ping pong table, etc. It's a play ground for adults. Expensive, but totally worth it IMO.

I like top golf, but it’s for couples or a group of people.. outrageous price for 1 man taking his family out for an hour or 2 there with food and drinks and Golf.. I took my family and we only hit balls for an hour, had 2 drinks each and 2 appetizers and my bill was like $150 without tip.. not a lot of $$ but a lot for what your get in the hour. You have friend that join and split the cost up then it’s a good time and pretty cheap..
