Thanks. When they call to check on me today I’m going to ask for an increase in pain meds. Last time (3 years ago; different knee with only inflammation) I ditched the meds and crutches after a day...this one is a bit different due to the jacked meniscus I think

It's a lie. You have at least 3 more gallons. It's to prevent the fuel pump from overheating but I wouldn't let it get that low everytime

Well I got to the last exit before the one I needed to get home. It read 7 miles and I knew I was 7 miles away. I decided to go for it. Once it got to 4 miles, it dropped 3-2-1 way faster than at the mile marks, so I got a little nervous. I know they usually will go farther than they say, but still made me nervous. I basically coasted the last mile haha!

If you have the 38 gallon tank there is like 6 gallons still once you are on E.

Did yours really show 0, and then stop displaying 'distance to empty'? There's another thread, people tryin' to figure out what is displayed after 0. Does it go to the screen you photo'd? This is the lowest I've gone.

If you scroll back around it will read 0. Then that warning will keep coming back.

:rofl:well, then problem solved! You still have another 200,000 before you need another oil change or any other maintenance....other than gasoline

I figured if you can go past the 10,000 without an oil change, I could surely get past 300 without adding gasoline

I had friends in other trucks so I wouldn’t have died or anything. But they would have had to go fetch some gas for me. Which would’ve been a bitch after a long day of dirt biking. I was mostly concerned about frying the fuel pump. Once I got to a gas station, I let the pump cool for about 10 minutes before putting any gas in.
