Not to say my friends are idiots, but I am the only guy that has a Toyota. Including family (Wife has 9 other brothers).

10 percent of market share is the math, I guess they are right!

Rant over, love my Taco and Tundra and TC (Scion).

    I guess I lucked out?

Dad drives a RAV, Sissy drives a Rav, Brother drives a XB, Girlfriend drives a Corolla, Cousin drives a Taco. Mom is the odd one out with a Cooper S.

Friends though, that's a different story, STi, Civic, Ranger, F150, Titan.... I honestly think I have one other close friend who drives a Tundra.

We're a toyota family too - 3 tacomas, 4runner, tundra, wife had a scion tc and is almost ready for a 4runner. Father in law has a 350 only because he needs it for pulling his trailer but has a tacoma as his daily.

My group of friends is a mix of almost every truck out there. Dodge, ford, chevy (no titans or hondas, we're not friends with those people lol jk.. no but seriously). I've already converted 2 of my buddies to toyota trucks. After they have seen the reliability and what they can do it was a no brainer for them.

Been all Toyotas at my house for a long time. My wife's dad sold Toyota for 20 some odd years before he passed away before I married her.

Was always a ford guy....oddly enough my wife's Sienna flipped me. Bought a 16 Tacoma...decided I needed more room and a smoother tranny. Got a leftover 17 tundra last weekend.

I’m in a 50% Yota family at this time. I have a Tundra, my mom has a 4Runner. My dad and brother both drive Fords for work trucks, neither has a personal vehicle, but I know my dad’s first choice for a personal truck would be a Tundra.

I'm the only Toyota owner in my family....but I'm working on changing that. I think my dad is a lost cause....he's been a GM guy F-O-R-E-V-E-R!

Owned Fords for 30 years and swore by them until the breaking point which was a POS 2001 Supercrew with 5.4. 2 Tacos and now a Tundra. Can't get brothers away from their Fords although youngest one said a Tundra is next. One brother's wife has always had 4Runners. Sister had one Hyundai and now it is eitherHonda or Subaru. BIL use to have a body shop so he just drove whatever wreck he could buy cheap and rebuild. Brother walked out to his F150 one morning and a window had dropped on its on own. Within a week or 2 3 of them did it.

My parents got me to start driving Toyotas. Dad has a 2014 4runner and a 2000 Tundra. Mom has a Lexus RX. Wife has a Lexus Nx. My sister and brother in law have a Ford and a Ram. They definitely have more issues than any of us.

That's funnier than sh... That was when Fords were better, just the windows dropped. Now, 1.6 million being recalled 'cause the whole door falls off.

I was die hard GM, but finally saw the light and got my first Tundra / first Toyota last year. No regrets. Should have made the jump sooner.

I’m in a big Toyota family

    Had 4 4 runners
2 ls Lexus with over 300k miles
    2 newer ls 460s
    2 Lexus IS
    3 rx Lexus
    2 Camrys
4 tundras. One with over 340k still running strong
    5 Lexus GSs
    1 Gx Lexus
    1 es Lexus
    1 sequoia

Almost all cars had over 200k miles before selling them and never had to change an engine or tranny in all those cars. Not many people can say that.

I have to say my family is also a Toyota family (Tundras, 4Runner SR5, Sport Edition and TRD Pro, FJ, Venza, Corolla, Tacoma, Camry, Solara, Highlander). The only model that hasn't been bought yet is the Avalon. They either have one or if they had one they most likely will get back into one eventually (when their wreck actually becomes a wreck).

Only a couple friends of mine own a Toyoda.

I'm guessing he never had to deal with the vibration issue, the crappy 6 speed trans tuning, the dead gas pedal and annoying cylinder deactivation that is prevalent on the 2014+ Silverado and Sierra.

My dad pickup is OLD.....1970s....he's always done all the work to it minus the tires. It's a beast of a truck and I want it. He told me his neighbor wants it. I'll be fighting his neighbor for it. My dad has had it almost my whole life. The truck he had before that was a bad ass International. Miss that truck. His daily driver is a Malibu. My stepmom's daily driver is an old ass Suburban.

So no....no new GM vehicles minus his Malibu and he hasn't had any issues with it.

I told my dad I would beat everyones ass for that truck! I learned how to work on vehicles on that truck and my old Toy. It should be mine.:( I love it just as much as he does. It needs a paint job though.
Not a great pic (because the truck wasn't the star of the photo shoot) but here it is....

Leave the paint or whats left of it as is. Then stick a SC'ed 5.7 in there and let it run forever.

I come from a long line of GM's I still own 2 myself some Honda product Mastercraft boat and the Tundra. My brother gives me shit all the time for the Tundra but hope he doesn't need a ride someday. I will surely remind him of it. The day I towed my dad's Tahoe 60 miles home to put a fuel pump in it I had to point out that it was behind the Tundra. Lol
