Awesome. Maybe I may get it by the end of this week. What tools did you all use to remove the stock unit? I've seen dedicated plastic tools.

 

10mm socket with long extension. 4 bolts. Pull your cigarette lighter panel off first. Then your hvac controls then you'll see the bolts under the radio. The cigarette panel is a pain, I put my thumb in the lighters and pull really hard.

 

Is it pretty self explanatory when taking the controls apart for the hazards and airbag indicator?

 

Yeah, you'll see the screws on the back of it, take them off, then undo the tabs on the sides. Then 2 screws hold the circuit board in place. Take that out you'll see the airbag and hazard lights, but they have to come out from the front. Couple more screws and light pulling you can pop the front face plate off. The airbag is 2 clear squares, need to push on those from the back with something flat, not a screwdriver, it'l scratch it, plus the airbag on/off is a little panel square in front of them, its glued on. I pushed on The clear squares from the back, it flew right off.

 

I actually had a bad experience with this company. I ordered mine at full price and thought they would have helped me more. The unit came with 2 broken tabs. Then when plugging it in the unit completely stopped working after about 1 hour. I was having issues with controlling my heat and sound that I was working through with the online chat. They accused me of unplugging my unit while it was on and said that caused the motherboard to fry. That doesn’t seem normal. Anyways I asked to return the item and they tried to get me to pay for shipping. Seems stupid since the item came with 2 broken tabs anyway. Still waiting for a return on my money. The wierd thing was that I originally asked for a replacement. They gave me such a hard time that I just ended up returning it. I really like the look of the unit and thought I could really make it work as I love technology like this. Stinks cause they lost me as a customer with such bad support. Hopefully this doesn’t happen to others on hear.

 

Didn't like the launcher that came with the unit so I installed this one completely customizable from color to what apps you want to show working on the date and time though

 

Steve Tundra that sucks, they gave me a hard time returning it too. I had to pay shipping, also a broken tab. I sold mine to someone on here so I didn't have to deal with them. I did like the unit and how it looked, it just didn't do what I needed. They said that they never stated it had video outs.

fake action tab is just a tab i haven't assigned a real action. The "When why" is a section i assigned the action of artist song title that is also cut off . I think this skin is more for horizontal displays and not my length wise unit.
so i chose a different skin which i like better for my needs

So far happy with my setup, just wish you could change the color to the Tundra OEM blue.

I noticed you have a Samsung S8 and I do as well and can't seem to get it connected via USB? Where you able to attach via Android USB and mirror?

I can't seem to get it to connect, have an email into phoenix, but that have been slow to respond lately.
