Thanks, it seems to create a decent seal all the way around.

Install was simple, eight screws into four brackets that mount into the bed rails. From there you just line it up, secure two hand tighteners up front and two tension clamps by the tailgate. With washing my bed and cleaning it up a little (scored it used off eBay), total install time was about 30 minutes. Now that the clamps are installed in the rails, it will be a 5 minute job to take off and put back on, when needed.

I'll report back on the weather resistance after some time. I'm not counting on it to be water tight, but it should the cargo dry through our snow and rain here in sunny Colorado.

Awesome. Thanks for the report. And thanks in advance for updating us when you've had some winter test-time.

Just put in my order for a DB Customs Grille.

Went with the paint match and back-lit option in Cool white. should look similar to this once its installed.
Super excited about this one. He's also doing a November/ Black Friday sale if anyone is interested!

grill is great EXCEPT for the big honking db custom grille emblem they always put on all the grilles. its the only thing that ensures I never buy one. but that is just me.

Doesn't bother me too much.. its just like anything else, they have to put their name on it some how. Rigid, RBP, NFAB, those guys do the same thing. But if I had a preference, I'm with you.
With that said, he was a pretty cool guy to talk to, gave me a hell of a deal so I pulled the trigger. :anonymous:

Installed some needed auxiliary LED reverse lights. Wanted something that didn't hang down or look to out of place, these fit the bill perfectly.

Had the bed lined with spray stuff today. http://www.hawaiispraylining.com/ on Oahu. According to them, their product is:

    > If you are unfamiliar with our polyurea product as oppose to other products present on the island, ours is industrial grade with a tear strength of nearly 4000 lbs, as we do quite a bit of commercial and industrial coating work in addition to truck beds. Not even a product like LineX can come close to the level of strength our chemical blend has. It is applied hot at appx. 160° F with a high pressure applicator system, and is dry to the touch in 2-3 seconds.

I bought them awhile back and had them on my old super duty, just got around to installing them today. They came from eBay, brand is u-box, but I'm pretty sure they are just a generic light that several companies put there name on as I have seen the same lights with different names on them. I have also seen them on Amazon under more than one name, but they are a 7" slim flood pattern led light.

Here some links to the same lights without the u-box name.
    On amazon
    https://www.amazon.com/OLS-Ultra-Sl...pID=51oTMJYe3FL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

    On eBay
    https://www.ebay.com/itm/2x-7inch-C...ash=item5d5fa8a87b:g:EMMAAOSwxN5WYSjo&vxp=mtr

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/7-18W-Ultr...ash=item28401c1d16:g:3lcAAOSwTLlZwcmy&vxp=mtr

I had to fabricate one bracket because the bracket to mount the outside of the light needed to be 1.5"-2" longer than the one that came with it. The inside bracket, I just drilled and tapped M6x1.0 a hole into the hitch and put a bolt in, the outer bracket I used a short self tapping screw to mount it to the metal support for the bumper step. I will try and get pics tomorrow when the sun is back up, as far as a pic on the radio screen, when it is completely dark out I will get you a pic.

Here are some pics, the ladder I set up is about 45' behind the truck, the fence is about 75'-80' behind the truck, the metal building is another 15" on the other side of the fence. First pic is no light, the following pics are just the led reverse lights in smoked spyder housings and the 2 - 7"led bars.20171115_180647.jpg 20171115_181105.jpg 20171115_181038.jpg

These are the best pics I could get of how they are mounted. They do push the bottom of the plastic out a couple of millimeters where they touch it, but it isn't noticeable. 20171115_181408.jpg 20171115_181423.jpg

I just tapped them into reverse + wire behind the 7 pin trailer harness, instead of going all the way up to the taillights and grounded them straight to the frame.
As for the source, go up a couple post to post# 11617, it shows where you can find the same lights under a different brand name than the ones I have.

bamf grille (bay area metal fab) doesn't even put a logo on their grilles which is why I bought there grille for the Tacoma instead of these folks. that was what sealed the deal that made me buy from bamf.

the other issue I have is how big the logo is compared to everyone else. most are subdued in the size and placement, where as db has to make it stand out from 100 ft away.

I will say this, DB did back their product up with a lifetime warranty. That is definitely something that sways me when making a decision. Once he told me that, I was pretty much all in.

Ill definitely leave an update and review as well as an installation thread once I receive.

I think it was @joem1cha3l who had an issue with DB. I contacted them and he made it right. I want one of their grills too
