@Berdine I apologize for the delay..I tested my android unit today and it did the same thing as yours... Only analog is put through the rear monitors..

 

Did you guys hook up that orange CANBUS box it came with?

 

Yes, my steering wheel controls didn't work until I did. Nothing plugged into the other end on mine, just the 1 end

 

Ah ok, that’s what messed me up with what I’m seeing. I didn’t see another harness for the other side.

Well I got a notice from Phoenix Android Radio that my order has shipped. That only took 10 days. I did not select express shipping so I am waiting on my ship to sail..... tick tock.......

Was it necessary to send them a photo of the factory HU before they ship the new HU? I totally forgot about doing that and I haven't seen any movement on my order. I purchased it on 10/30/17.

What did you have to do to fix this?

 

This is for vehicles with dual climate control - the passenger settings.

 

Thats good to hear. I figured they just didn't bother changing it if you didn't have dual climate.

Anyone order one that doesn't have dual climate? I'd be interested to see what they did with the right knob.

 

That is strange.. I ordered my on the 29th and it was delivered to the DHL office in Michigan yesterday. I fly into MI tomorrow morning so I had them hold or there so I wouldn't be delivered to my house with no one there. This shipping was way faster then the last one I ordered.

This has probably been answered already but are these the same units Phoenix radio sells? I noticed these have a black trim around the radio and the one phoenix radio sells have a silver trim.

 

I don't know. I just went and got the info off FB so people don't have to have an account just to know about the sale.

It looks like the price is for 1+16 core board. The 2 g ram is fake spec. Never heard of 2+16 core board. I believe they would not only offer 2+64 units.

That's funny cause I ordered my replacement on the 30th and it just shipped today.

 

What temp is off, upper right corner?

 

No its the HVAC temps. They are jumping all over like one other person said it was doing. The temperature jumps from 41F to 197F etc. I set both of the vehicle types to TANTU HI as well.

 

I hope everyone documents the install so it makes it easier for the rest of us. I really wish they included more thorough and easily understandable instructions... Mine arrives today in fact.

 

Never heard back if he got it fixed, mine never did that.

 

Im assuming its an issue with our vehicles because we have a different climate control system in limited and platinum models. I had to change my vehicle type to tantu hi before the hvac would even work.

 

I'm seriously wondering what the 2018 limited with premium package install will be like.... I still want to add some amps and subs. Still haven't figured out how to do that yet. I asked a couple of the expert audio vendors you guys like and they didn't even know how to connect it with that single sub output wire. It's definitely not an RCA.
