    So what tools do you carry in your Tundra necessary to handle any situation?, I don't know if there is a thread here with a list of what our Tundras need but in TacomaWorld there was for the Tacos. For off roading, a newbie like me, I would start with an air compressor, that's my contribution.....

    This is a great topic. Thank you for starting it. I need ideas because I'm terrible about this. I don't have anything in my truck but what came in it and a ratchet strap and 2 bungee cords. Lmfao!! O and I'm sure there is a empty beer can or two.

    Nothing, because there is no storage in the third gen tundra. :rolleyes: Hopefully @havasubud will have his new design out soon. ;)

    Just purchase 8/8/15
    Just picked up this for 600.00. It Weighs a ton. But it has every tool you would ever need and in a pelican case.

    yep bank account is running low from it..
    I have two pelican cases but used different tools in my set up. One has sockets one had wrenchs in them. Best investment I have made in a long time.

    I have one of them and I love it. I don't use it for commercial use, just whatever junk I would normally want to keep under the seat. Works great.

    Current;
    Wrench set, ratchets/sockets, assort pliers, multi-drivers, torx/alan keys, pry bars, aerosol can of penetrating oil, tow rope, 2 breaker bars, 6 ratchet straps, jumper cables and first aid kit... all in my under-seat storage, it's a very tight fit and bulges up a bit... but I can put the seats down no problem.

    Future;
    I am looking to get those swing out storage bins for the rest of my kit and mount a long handled spade and square shovel(s) on either side of the bed above the wheel wells.

    I will also shorten and install my bed-slide after I get the propane tank sorted out.

    Socket set, ratchet, ratchet straps, screwdrivers, lug nut key in my purse (I lose shit like crazy so I don't want something that small in my truck), PB blaster, winch remote (for when I need to get a Ford unstuck) and my .45 :p. All of it goes in my center console because I'm OCD and nothing else is in my truck. It's always empty, lol.

    Four ratchet straps, and a set of basic hand tools (screw driver, clamps, tie downs, flathead, hammer ect.) and some jumper cables, the jack and a set of deep sockets for tire removal. Storage isnt to great on the 2nd gen either, so i should get some bed boxes those look awesome!

    Its the perfect size to save bed room especially on the CM. Its a really dark gray and blends in great with the bed liner.

    Chevy got around that by adding the 'on star' button, that way you don't need to carry any tools, it will automatically call a tow truck for you.

    I heard Ford has some new cool features, a magnetic rear bumper to catch the parts as they fall off and it's heated too so your hands will stay warm when you're pushing it home.

    Yeah I saw it, good commercial. They also dropped a toolbox off the edge of the bed and it tore a neat little triangular hole. They did all the same things to the chevy next to it with no tears, some dents but no tears of the steel bed.
