Im thinking I may want all black accessories which would mean eaither replacing my brush gaurd or painting it along with doing something with all the chrome on her.

what are yalls thinking on doing this and what kinda of work am I getting myself into lol.

1-change out the runners to black ones
    2-adding black fender flares
    3-painting or replacing the gaurd
4- painting or replacing the grill trim
5-painting ,replacing or removing the emblems
6- not sure about the bumpers yet

You can always Plasti-dip all the chrome to see how you like it, and that wouldn't cost much at all. Painting chrome isn't easy and most paint shops (in my area) won't do it because it'll chip easily.

X2 on plasti-dip. HomeDepot usually has black and white in stock. You can order any color directly from the plasti dip website.

Personally, I am not a fan of chrome. Anything factory chrome I can replace with color matched or black, I did..I am vinyl wrapping my front bumper caps next week so all chrome will be gone.

I have a 2008 DC in this same color and have been considering doing the same thing. Please do post pictures as you make this change. I was hoping for a genea-pig :)

So on mine, I put Amp Research Power steps, which really cleans up the sides (and yes they are Black).

On the front I have a Flat Black Bull bar, which I really prefer over a full Brush guard. Sorry don't remember the brand, but there are a bunch of them out there.

You have a lot of chrome to cover up if you don't like chrome.

The beauty of plastic-dip is your decision does not have to be permanent.

One tip: don't clear coat anything until you are sure you like the color. It's PIA (relatively) to take off once you clear coat it
