    Is there anyone rocking a 12 volt fridge/freezer combo on there Tundra??? I want to pull the trigger on one for my 2015 but want tundras.com experts advise and recommendations regarding brand, size, installation and any othe info I might need. Thanks in advanced!!!:thumbsup:

    I did saw @Wikid awesome set-up. I will definitely ask him later on how to set it up to be wired always hot to my primary battery (the only one I have, LOL) Thanks Sean for your help, and your truck is looking mighty good too!!!

    yep bank account is running low from it..
    Dont wire to to a primary battery if your running it all the time. .

    Use a second battery with a isolator. If your fridge battery drains down for whatever reason you can still start the truck then let the truck recharge the second battery. just a fyi for you.

    I have a buddy with the ARB fridge/freezer in his 100 series Land Cruiser. He's NOT running dual batteries and has had no problems with it. Just an FYI.

    It's really just an Indel B fridge/freezer that TF sells. My only complaint is the temperature digital readout is only in Celsius. Ya know...because Americans fail at the metric system.

    Thanks @jberry813, I have a Flex Tonneau Cover and have a height of about 20" when closed, so I don't think I can fit that particular model. Nonetheless it looks pretty cool and with a very attractive price. Thanks once again!!!

    The TF51 is 20.5" tall. The TF41 is 17" tall.

    I drink a lot of beer also, a lot, and have two little critters that drink milk and juices like there is no tomorrow. That is why I'm seriously thinking about getting the fridge. Still got some homework to do tho, got to find out first if someone in P.R. sells them at a reasonable price or find some company that will ship here without asking for an arm and a leg for freight!!!

    My suggestion is to wire in a 12 volt cigarette lighter adapter to the bed and use the standard plug. Then you can keep it mobile.
    I have these on my expo trailer depending on whether the fridge is in the cargo box our outside on the ground:

    He wired a 12V receptacle in the cargo area.

    However, I was talking with him last night and he mentioned that he was going to a dual battery set up. Said if he left the vehicle sitting over the weekend and didn't start it, the fridge would drain the battery.

    ^^+1 I also wired up that 12v for always on to keep the cooler running during stops. I have the Koolatron battery saver which cuts the power at 11v. I can usually keep the cooler running for 4-6 hours after driving. (yellow top battery, stock probably 2-4) Saving on ice for lots of trips is nice and not dealing with the hassle of ice water is even better.

    I also sprung for the 110v adapter, great for motel rooms, just keep it running. I recently bought one of these to give it a little help

    Another advantage of the IndelB/TF fridge is it has both 12 volt and 120 volt power options and cables. No need for an inverter.
