    @Jmunk

    In reference to the 3/8" rubber hose, when used in conjunction w/the OE hard lines... How much hose do I need to have on hand for both sides of the cooler??

    I cut off about a 7ft piece and that does both lines from the hardlines to the cooler. I usually have some leftover.

    I purchased about 9.5 feet to be safe. There is 5.5 feet left. I dunno know how my mechanic was able to use such little line but everything looks perfect to me, no hard angles.

    Hey there @Jmunk, I have a 2021 Tundra Platinum Crewmax and am interested in your Transmission Cooler Bracket Kit along with the Hayden 689.

    Do you sell it all with everything required or will I still need to order anything else? What all would I get and for how much.

    Thanks much!
    Scott

    Just to update; before installing the cooler I was routinely running in the 210-230 degree range just on regular commutes to and from work. I installed the cooler (with @Jmunk bracket) and towed our RPOD camper to upstate New York this past weekend. The temperature didn't get above 202 degrees the entire time.

    Your experience is similar to the others that have reached post install and monitored temps. Your 202 temp is great with towing a camper in the upstate NY area with hills. I spent awhile looking at coolers before I landed on the Hyde 679 and 689.

    This post on the first page has the info of what you get, the cost, and there is a basic install PDF.

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/transmission-cooler-bracket-kit-hayden-679-689.153340/#post-3817674

    Basically I sell a kit with the mounting bracket and a hardware mounting kit for the bracket to the truck. Bolts for mounting the cooler to the bracket are included. The bracket with hardware shipped is $95, if you’d like AN fittings add $15.

    In the thread below someone tracked their cost for everything at the time and it was $755. If you buy the OEM parts when they are on sale from Toyota, you could probably get it cheaper also depending upon your local dealer you may be able to save on shipping cost.

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/tra...en-689-w-toyota-hardlines-actual-cost.155823/

    This is one of the more cost effective ways to add a transmission cooler to these trucks.

    If you’d like one just send me a PM.
