    He was benched toward the end of last season for under-performing, and threw something like 7 or 8 picks over 4 games with 0 TDs. Penix was put in I think week 15 or 16 and has since been the starter.

    Edit: I just looked it up, it was 0 TDs to 6 INTs over 4 games, and his fifth and last game as a starter (Week 15) he had another INT although manged to get 1 passing TD. So essentially 1 TD and 7 INTs over 5 games. Penix took over week 16, and Cousins is now also the most expensive backup in the NFL.
