    I was reading some where when draining and filling the transmission. You need to rest the clock with a tech stream? Is it really necessary? I’m not flushing the system. I’m mainly doing this to see if the transmission was under serviced. It behaves differently when the ac is on. Almost like a jerky feeling at slower speeds. Thanks.

    If I remember correctly, that reset is only required if you replace 50% or more of the fluid. That subject is discussed in another thread here.

    So if you do a series of drain and fills over the course of 15K miles you shouldn’t have to do a reset? Thanks.

    That is a question I cannot answer. I would suggest using the search (upper right) and search for "transmission drain". There is a lot of information in those threads.
