    To do that did you just have to run a wire to the mirror and then to the button on the mirror adjustment switch?

    Have an off-road trip with my LT Tundra friends in November, so finally made some time to work on the truck. Goes to Toyota on Monday for cam tower repair, then off to the fab shop for repairs and add few things I’ve been wanting to do.

    Had to remove skid plates, bypass shocks, coil tower brace, and disconnect all accessory wiring. Fun stuff! Few pics below

    :mad::annoyed::censored: stupid cam tower leak

    IMG_4489.jpg

    IMG_4500.jpg

    Have to jack truck up by the frame until the front tires are close to off the ground to remove the tension on the coil tower brace for removal. Took a few pics of the truck at full droop in front on the limit straps. Fender lip is 49 1/2” from ground, strapped at 13.25” travel. Tires are still barely touching, this is at the fully usable droop limit for the cv joints, up travel is limited with a spacer 1” to keep the inner fenders intact with 37” tires.

    It’s a work in progress. Got the platinum mirrors installed (physically) also got the BSM pins switched so that system works like it should. Next up is wiring the Fold switch and tie in the auto dim. Big thanks to my brother @RainMan_PNW for always picking up the phone when I call.

    When I first installed it, it seemed like it was close to the shifter, but I have not noticed in real-world use.

    I did not lose any steering wheel controls, and as far as I’ve noticed I didn’t lose anything in the center dash screen, although I admit I rarely use it for anything other than the digital speedometer.

    Replaced the front brakes. I’d say it was definitely time. OEM pads, rotors, and installation hardware. Reused the pad shims.

    Also got tech12volts JBL sub installed (infinity branded in my case)

    The (maybe) original TrueStart battery finally kicked the bucket. New battery is a Duracell 27F, 840CCA from Sam’s Club. I got scared off getting another TrueStart and bit on the higher CCA. I also need to replace the tie down, mine is corroded and nasty.

    It turned out good! The stripe itself is a little off and I wish it matched the stitching, but they weren’t able to match the leather and stitching. Overall for the price I’m happy with it though! Feels great as far as driving experience is concerned.
