Back ordered 2011 grill

I’ve been trying to buy a metallic grey grill (53100-0C240-B1) for my 2011 Tundra SR5 from numerous sites since early spring but I keep hearing it’s on back order. How often does Toyota catch up? Can I expect to see availability anytime this year?

 

I have been trying to purchase a radiant red grill for the last 2 years and it's been backorder. I finally purchased an aftermarket grill after no confirmation date of when the grill will be in production again.

 

Rumor has it that the grill MFG and Toyota split ways a few years back and they have been struggling to fill those orders. It also doesn’t help that 2nd Gen tundras are almost 20 years old and 1.5 generations ago, so focus on parts manufacturing has shifted to newer vehicles.

I’ve been waiting a grill for my ‘21 for 9 months with no ETA.

Dig around ebay. Find a seller with a rating you like but you should be able to find something that is pretty much what you want and you'll actually be able to get it.

Quick search brought me to this for under 200.

Probably a good idea as any. I’ve been shying away from non OEM products because of quality and fitment. In this case all I need is the surround since I’ve already got a grill insert I want to use
