    I’m sorry, I was thinking of 2007 and up. On your 2006, remove the drum and look for rust on the edge that mates with the dust shield that might be making contact. You can use a welder’s chipping hammer to remove it. Also make sure your parking brake cable is in the metal retainer. It can rub on the inside of the axle flange and cause a squeak noise.
