Gotta break that cycle my dude.

the tail lights pull straight back, just one hand on the side of the light (bed side) and one hand on the back (closest to the tail gate) and just one quick movement back and they are free. Don’t twist or try and rock them out.

And let’s be clear, I’ve posted a lot on this thread, and others, on how to do things for wiring. Even asked others for help when trying something new. We all learn from each other but the key thing is to get past the fear of messing something up by just doing the research and going for it

Show us the part where he "called people out". Thicker skin would probably serve you well going forward in life.

Research and go for it. If you're nervous/scared/worried, then pay someone to do it for you. Just know they could mess something up just as easily as you can.

He literally said i wasn't a man, and then said too scared to pull off the tail light really? Not sure how that isn't calling out someone.

I explained i was nervous about it, and that was the response. His second post actually was very informative and I appreciated it. I have watched tons of videos on this, I just haven't seen many actually explain the wiring especially the add a fuse side of it.

Are you 12? Sack up and get it done! We are here to help you if you get stumped, but you've got to be less sensitive. I've wired 12V components for decades both professionally and casually....rest assured, this is a simple project and I'm confident we can get you through it.

The Rave harness ties into the tail lights and will power the rear flares whenever the tail lights are on. The fronts utilize a fuse tap and will be on anytime the ignition is on. I'd extend those and run them back to tie into the same harness as the rears - that way all four flares are on with the tails and function more like OEM.

I ordered the harness, waiting on the flares to come in.

You say tie into the rear, like this is something I know how to do. I’m no electrician and have read this thread probably 6 times. I’m not sure how to do that.

Instead of using the fuse tap for the two front flares, you will extend and run those wires back along the frame under the truck and tie them into the rear harness. Once you have all the parts in your hands, it should make more sense.
