I use Amsoil for all fluids in my 2016. Antifreeze is all that's left to change.
Is there any reason why I can't use amsoil antifreeze?

I don't see why not. I use the Zerex Asian vehicle.

I’d suggest draining the block on both sides in addition to draining the radiator to get all the old coolant out.

Not all antifreeze plays well with others and that can create problems. Even asian red and pink are not compatible with one another.

I use Zerex as well. Don't know what was used before I bought the car but 37,000 miles and have not had any hiccups *knock on wood*. Have drained and filled 3 times only using the radiator petcock. I know there's two engine block holes but was too lazy to do it. The radiator petcock only drains about half the total capacity.

Toyota is an OAT coolant as long as the other coolant is the same type they would be compatible

I used Toyota and Pentafrost A4. Just repaired coolant valley leak, ran short of coolant and used the Xerex Asian Vehicle Red , Toyota, Lexus, Scion compatable.. I did use the block drains. Passenger side is much easier to get to than drivers side. Used my torch to add a little heat as they've never been opened since new 2016, pet cock itself is not aluminum, brass screw 10mm hex...

Is the Xerox Red an inorganic formula if it is it’s not compatible with Toyota pink. Only reason I am asking is Toyota Red is an inorganic formula

From looking at the specs. Xerex is borate and silicate free P-HOAT, Phosphate Hybrid Organic Acid Tech . Toyota specs : non borate, non silicate, non nitrite, non amine, with HOAT... differences I see is the corrosion inhibitors, Xerex uses phosphate ( corrosion resistance), sodium benzoate, Toyota uses sebacic acid.& proprietary inhibitors. Also the Pentafrost A4 also has phosphated OAT or HOAT.. I'm sure there is more chemistry..

You will be ok when I saw red in the name it threw up a red flag of not knowing if it would be equivalent to Toyota Red coolant

I run Amsoil antifreeze in several Toyotas, never had an issue with mixing, I drained the rad and both sides of the block, so it’s mostly in there.

I also run the Amsoil coolant when I did my first I never bothered flushing out the Toyota pink just did a radiator drain and fill and after putting in the new fluid just had the heater at the hot setting. No problems using this method
