So I bought a door lock actually from Toyota-Parts.com. Entered all the info they requested so they could make sure to ship the correct part. I didn’t get to the removal & replacement right away. When I finally did get around to replacing the bad actuator, I discovered Toyota-Parts.com sent the wrong part, the shape of the actuator, along with the attached cables, & mounting holes weren’t even close to the one I removed. And because it was past their 30 day requirement, no refund or exchange. The difference in the part sent, and the part I needed was simply, my tundra is a limited, they sent a door lock actuator for an SR5. Passenger front door. Can’t believe they’re that different. Lesson for the kids out there.

Recommend always using the EPC with VIN to get the part numbers and enter that into Toyota parts site. Maybe you can sell yours to someone on the forum and recoup some of your money.

Yup, when I brought the part I received,..I took it to my local Toyota dealer, they checked it against my “vin” and discovered it was for the SR5 , not the Limited. And there wasn’t a vin spec on the webpage I used to order the part.
Just the year, model, & trim (which should’ve been enough), and passenger side front door .
