Hey all. So I have all my cooler stuff ready to install. Only thing left to do is find a level surface. My wife and I rent and the property has no level ground whatsoever and I don’t have a jack or anything to level it. All my jack stands and my jack are in storage and it’s a hassle to go get them. Does anyone have any ideas that would help? I know it’s a dumb question but just wanted to see what others have done.i have a frame level just no level surface at all. The only option is take it to a shop with a lift. Any solutions? Thank you guys.

Got any wood? Like 2x10 you could stack under the tires? Or you could buy a jack and jackstands and keep them out of the weather you will have them for many decades into the future. Or a buddy with a garage.

DIY ramps made of 2x10 or 12s. Maybe search for auto lift bay rentals in your area..

Publish your location? Someone who might be close by might have level ground and that might be an option?

I’m in Morgan hill. I’m not kidding when I say there is no level ground here. I’m trying with my driveway but it’s sloped both ways. Might just take it to a shop just to have them do a level check.

Where you planing on using a scan tool to check the transmission temp before checking the level?

I live in Colorado and had the same problem. Just used $35 ramps and drove the front wheels onto the ramps and checked for level with a short level on the frame.

Bonus points that a slightly raised front end gives easier access to the trans for checking.

FB market place should have cheap ramps (I have the Rhino Ramps) for the taking.

Thanks everyone. No way around it. Can’t get it level around here. Just gonna take it to a shop. I appreciate the recommendations.

I'm fortunate enough to have a flate driveway but it does have a slope to it so I drive on top of some wood to level it. I just stick a magnetic level to the transmission pan.
