    Not sure I really understand what you're envisioning with a door but the gap is about the width of my fingers. Meaning I can slide my hand up in it.

    Well I finally got the correct wire harness for my brake.and dome lights. Now I just have to figure out how I should tap the power for the dome light.

    What have y'all done to power your dome lights? The vague instructions say to tap into the factory dome light, but I don't want to do that. I'm thinking I'll have to run power directly to the battery, unless y'all have a better idea.

    Cargo lamp circuit.

    Behind the dash going up to the left "A" pillar is the wiring for the dome, cargo and high mount lights. The cargo light wire is red with a black stripe. The ground is white with a black stripe. I tied into that and ran a line down through the gromet under the carpet and to the back.
