My truck recently started making this noise usually around 25 mph. The noise goes away as I slow down, sounds like its spinning, and sometimes when driving in 2wd and the noise happens the 4hi light starts blinking. Noise still occurs when i switch to 4hi. At first i thought maybe wheel bearing but then why would the 4hi start flashing. I tested the abs, its not that.i unplugged the 4wd actuator and it still made the noise at speed. Maybe its the driveshaft center support bearing but the play in the driveshaft is barely noticeable. Im hoping its just that or a u joint and not the more expensive transfer case or diff. I have been avoiding driving at all until I get this fixed, please any advice would be appreciated I linked a video of the sound.

Hard to tell from that vid. Your profanity it louder that the noise itself. It's not a normal bearing noise. ADD or driveshaft related is my guess. I would remove the front driveshaft and retest. Maybe get some driveline pics from the underside so we can see more about what you're working with. When did it start? Have you done any work just prior to the noise starting? Details on the 3" lift you have...

I'll definately try to take some driveline pics when I get home, started about two weeks ago, I took a 6 hour trip in it about two weeks before that. The most recent work I've done to it is steering rack bushing and that was a long while ago, just a block lift
