Before the wife and I got married she had a few non-negotiable requests. If I agreed we would get married.

    1) No minivans. She said never would she drive one. Even if we had 3+ kids.
    2) No station wagons. I showed her an Audi S6 Avant and gave me "the look". To her it still sucks.
    3) Always maintained employment unless physically impossible. She had a lazy boyfriend once that expected her to work her ass off while he was playing video games at his mom's place.

Hell's Bells if that wasn't easy.

The minivans are nice and what they offer today is amazing. When I would snowboard 2-3 times a week, one of my buddies had a minivan and it was pretty nice getting back and forth off the mountain.

2025 Sienna Platinum Wind-chill Pearl finally arrived, fits in the garage, and is far more of a looker than I was expecting. First drive has me wondering why we waited so long.

Pretty pumped about this new vehicle. It's been sitting for a week or so but the prep and ceramic coating is done, and I was able to get it undercoated before it ever saw wet roads.

I'm biased, but I will say that the amount of pearl on these things is rather impressive.

Bought a Sienna over Labor Day Weekend. We set all our bias and preconceived notions of minivans aside and realized just how practical, comfortable and convenient this was for our growing family. I really wanted to like the new Sequoia, but given the base model 4x4 starts around $70k (you can't find one around here anyway), the cargo/3rd row area is really not desirable for how we'd use it 99% of the time (seats folded down with strollers/stuff in the back), and we'd never tow anything with it, the choice was obvious. Grand Highlander was a consideration, but not really that substantial of a jump in areas that mattered over our standard Highlander.

Dislikes: Wow they are hard to find, Sienna's are hotter than trucks in 2021-22. There a no incentives whatsoever and it was already an expensive vehicle to begin with, but I am too proud to buy anything other than a Toyota.

Our 2020 Highlander is gone and the Tundra will soon follow once I'm in a company provided F150 (Yes, a Ford... I know).

Yea, I would love me some Sienna, the only grip I have with it is the ride height.
But, I also read in some other forum that people are installing 3 inch lift to accommodate that, so there's that possibility, but the downside is, I think it is all spacers, meaning the ride will likely be shit.

Yeah I've seen the same thing. They sure do look cool, but no way am I going to ruin the stock ride quality of this. It's smoother than my coworkers GMC Yukon Denali with air suspension.

Ohh..... I wonder how that's gonna be with air suspension, assuming you can actually do that on a Sienna.... will probably ride like a boat....lol
