changed the oil when I got home and now for some street time.

Been reading some on using 10w. With heat and shear can act like a 5w. Oil type is a slippery slope...

That's why I don't recommend stuff like that to anyone. To each his/her own. Or see your owners manual.

Exactly! Posting what we use or do should be researched before one trys it out.

Ha. Just like some using DEX3 instead of WS. Someone does it and says they ruined their transmission based on a post.
Experimenting with the Lexus 8arfts coils and other mods were a test to find out, at our own risk, if any benefits were there. Sometimes it works out sometimes it doesn't...

I asked the seller and he said he has to go to his country, can’t take her.

But who knows what the real reason is.

Let us know when you are ready to give it another offer.

We can have the hive shoot him a ton of stupid low ball offers for a bit and then you can swing in and swoop it up!

(i definitely haven't done this in the past)

    About 2hrs in.

Those clips on the back of the manifold were a bitch. All 275lbs of me were laying on top of the engine to try to get my dirty dick-beaters back there. Pry bar got em off

I don't reinstall those, they're next to useless anyway and make it an absolute bitch as you found out to remove the blower in the future.

What's the verdict on reusing the plenum gaskets?

I think the instructions say to reuse them; mine were reused and were fine. However, doing it myself, I would opt to replace them 'while I'm in there'. I also did the water pump because it had 200k miles on it but certainly not necessary. I had just replaced the serpentine belt idler and tensioners as well else they would be on the list.

How much more of your money would you like us to spend?
