    Dental upset:
Dentist believes I have a micro fracture after examining X-rays. Referred me downstairs for a consultation for it. (Root canal place). I was able to get in a 4P appt as she asked if it hurts non-stop, and I told her (no, she’s not hot) it hurts when I eat- and that’s six meals a day, seven days a week lol
If I don’t need a root canal, then the dentist will do the crown.

As far as the tongue: Literally nothing they can do. He said with this gouge, it’ll take at two weeks, at minimum to heal. He prescribed me some antibacterial mouthwash.

Checked with my main healthcare provider who can make it, and have it to me at my standard cost of $5.00, or go somewhere else for $84. Off to Kaiser I went. They told me it’ll take 30 mins to make (?). I waited 50 minutes and reminded them..five minutes later they had it ready for me.

No nap for me today :(

better news? Taking the family to TN this weekend for a few days

I am (semi) sober and it's still a no for me, which is surprising actually. I usually have pretty low standards.

Sucks about the other stuff but hope the trip to TN is at least enjoyable. What part if you don't mind me asking?

Memphis and around there, I think. We have some friends who live outside the city and I know she wants to go visit TN- neither her or I have been.
We also made an adult decision last week. Moving forward, once a quarter her and I will take a flight for a couple of days wherever. No kids. Just us. It’s been driving me insane as we are both usually very busy. So after this trip, goodbye kids (18.5/12) once ever few months

thinking about selling my bed rack and getting rails... like the rhino rack cross rails... does anyone here have rails going across their bed? love/hate thoughts?

I really am debating selling it all and getting a topper, but I think that would be too expensive right now

We used to use our free flight benefits all the time. Take day or or 2-3 day trips just for the hell of it. Lately, however, flying has become such a PITA that we haven't in years. She still has the benefit in retirement, but we have preferred to take our travel trailer camping.

Nice, we have been fortunate enough that my wife hasn't had to have a real job in years. She helps her mom clean houses on the side other than that her schedule is flexible enough that for the past few years we have tried talking at least 1 vacation or quick getaway with out the kids at least 1 time a year. Not saying cleaning houses isn't a job but not a 9-5 schedule type job. We like taking the kids places but we need our time too and if we take them everywhere then that will take their adventuring days away when they get older. Thats what we like to tell them anyway:D.
Been to Memphis 1 time. I enjoyed it. Trying the different bbq joints out. Dollywood, pigeon forge, gatlinburg is a good visit but dollywood is getting up in price like Disney parks:spending:

Everything serves a purpose if there was a need for it i would look into the rails but have been hesitant to it because it seem like they could get in the way if you constantly loading/unloading large items in and out of your bed. Never actually had them but that's my thaught on them

my rack is as annoying on that front as your comment suggests... I think the Rhino rails slide out of the way when not needed... I needed to throw a Thule hauler on the truck this weekend and couldnt due to time and adjusting the existing rack... so now its a project for this week. but other than that, I think they will actually be more usable... I am concerned about my shade tent and waterport, but I can figure that out as needed.
