Factory gasket failed on intake 2025 iforce max platinum

So I owned the truck for 2 days and hybrid malfunction engine light. Took to dealer that day the diagnosis was both banks running lean. Waiting for dealer pictures of repairs . Has anyone heard of this before and will I have issues about posting pictures from dealer or is that in anyway going to have legal issues about it . They found a gasket was improperly installed from factory. Killed new truck expierence completely! Should I get/ask for compensation from dealer.

 

Will continue to update as it continues no cost to me so far

 

Not a major thing, thats what warranty is for. Stuff happens from time to time, let them correct it & go on.

I would use it as an opportunity to see how your dealer handles warranty issues, if you aren’t familiar with their service department.

 

Hmm... Hybrid malfunction lamp, is that new for 25?

 

Gasket leak at intake will cause it to suck air in making it run lean. Should be fixed as long as gasket was problem.

 

Agree. What does that have to do with the hybrid portion? I'm curious on the "hybrid malfunction" lamp.

 

Ye the tech said it would throw codes there was also a parking sensor warning and ultrasonic camera code i made a video of the codes that were cycling through here is a snap shot of the one code you were wondering about

 

Ok have 2 days of driving in the bank on the repair no codes and all seems ok at this time i looked around the net for anyone having this issue no luck yet ?

 

Probably just a related side effect of computer acknowledged problem within system.

 

Toyota has the dumbest logic for throwing caution lights. Might as well just install a solid red blinking hazard lamp on the dash for any malfunction.
