Truth. I went to bed early (8:30) and I was dead until 5:30 this morning. The alarm was awful. However, my feet are fine. You may want to talk to a doctor if waking up is causing foot pain.

    What a co-inky-dink. I'm selling a Diamondback for a 3rd Gen as well, because I switched to an Alu-Cab.

Same here, this is the first house with natural gas I have ever lived in. It’s nice to be able to flip a switch and the fireplace turns on. Not to mention the mess and amount of work that goes with wood burning fireplaces. I grew up cutting and splitting firewood with my dad and it was very rewarding seeing a full truck load of wood that you split then drive it back up around the house to the covered wood storage rack area and stacking it again! I continued to do this for him many years after I left the house, just knowing that it was keeping him warm through the winter was a good feeling. Sometimes we would buy cords of split wood and even for a while found a guy who would deliver a dump truck load of cut but un-split wood “bucked” for $80 then I’d have to split it but it was a good deal. Recently this summer I tried to find a company to deliver a 1/2 cord just for our backyard fire pit and camping and going price was $250 for 1/2 cord of split fir. Expensive but convenient so I scheduled delivery 3 times through 2 different “firewood” companies and got no call no show 3 times in a row. At that point I said f%#k it and looked for other options. A lot of the logging companies out here have huge piles of cut-offs that are unusable to them and they will sell at a good price but then my wife found a program through the city for free firewood that comes from downed trees during storms and hazard trees the city has to remove. Had to call and get a permit but they let you get up to 2 cords per day for free! I went twice and loaded up as much as I could by myself and have just been splitting it as we need it. I miss having a wood burning fireplace but enjoy being able to have a campfire in the back yard.

Our free local paper isn't worth the paper it's printed on. The writers and editors obviously don't even bother to proofread what they've written, the puzzles suck and no comics.

Same. Our local newspaper is terrible in every way. I could write a better online paper. The local college paper is better.

Yes, sir!!! Hopefully I'll be snoozing in about 30 minutes...

We're good, just getting caught up on pre-rainy season stuff around the house.

My '21 just hit 30k; I forgot to capture the 30,303 mileage, but I did see 30,420 pop up and thought about you... :rasta:

Anyhow, with the truck at 30k, getting ready to throw on the transmission cooler; do a quick DnF since the system will be open and I have to check level after the cooler install; and swapping fluid on the F&R diffs and t-case at the same time since the armor will be off for the cooler install!!

Newspapers died with objective and honest journalism. It's all one form of activism and ego stroking or another these days.

There is no journalistic integrity and there are no consequences. The truth doesn't matter, just whatever is sensational or in line with whatever agenda is in vogue.

I'm just going to go live in a hermit hole out in the woods. Don't bother me.

Check your slider bolts while you're under there. Can't hurt.

Speaking of sliders, how are you liking them? Still satisfied with them?

    Very much... :hattip:

The small cross bars (where the top plates would sit if I had them) have some powder coat damage from the damn rocks on our gravel road off the main highway, so I'll need to wire brush those areas and hit them w/some touch up paint to prevent them from rusting.

But, unfortunately, it's expected as these LTX AT2s pick up every damn rock on the road and toss em everywhere...

I'll be doing the same w/the skids and cat guards; although those looked pretty good the last time I was under there...

Yeah, rocky roads are rough on the coatings. That was why I had mine bed lined, and that was great until I did Imogene Pass and tore a 12 inch section of liner off the bottom. It was great for daily dirt road use, though.

I know some guys didn't care for the quality of powder coating that was done on their RCIs (many said theirs was damaged even during shipping), but I purchased after they updated their facility w/their own PC capabilities and quality of the PC was good and shipping protection/wrap was very good. So, I have no issues w/their QC on my pieces....

If I ever have to completely strip them down or if I had bought bare metal units, I would have used Steel It to paint them with. That shit is damn expensive but holds up and touches up better than bedliner or PC...
