    security main module 00016-30960-01

i am currently in the process of removing dealer installed security system. I have been able to trace and identify most of wires to undo, but I can't figure out these couple wires from the security module.
    1. first pic is single pin connector from the security module. connector from car side fits on the female connector (?) what is this wire & am i suppose to unplug from the module and plug it in to the (?)
    2. second pic has a blue wire from the module that disappears behind the fuse panel, and a green connected to black/white wire that also disappears behind the fuse panel. what should i do with these wires?

yup, trying to undo some of previous owner's work so I can troubleshoot issues better. I've gone through EWD, but can't seem to figure it out

Since you don't say, will assume by your user name that you have a 2000 AC ???

Also, what After Market system are you removing, which might help us help you figure this out.

The 3 pin connector that you're asking about with ? mark is a 3 pin connector S8 that Toyota calls a short pin. It is used for those that have power seats, so no you don't plug that single pin female connector into that 3 pin ? connector.

As for the single pin female connector that appears to be Black w/Yellow stripe ?? and possibly goes to connector IB3 pin 7 which has to do with Door Lock....something After Market usually does.

Given I'm not confident in how you're describing colors, the below shows Toyota's way of expressing their color code....noting Basic color with Stripe if one exists. If that is indeed a Black with White stripe, that would be a Ground wire. It would help if you would find out what the Blue and also the Black w/Wh stripe go to behind the fuse panel.

this is helpful thank you. yes- it is a 2000 AC.
the security module's part # is 00016-30960-01 with a TDS remote

the blue wire sort of disappears behind the firewall (at least that's what it feels like) i suspect it's wired to the headlights. not sure where the b-w is grounded to.
I'll have to take a closer look this weekend.

That is a part number that’s usually associated with Gulf States Toyota(GST) Securikey system IIRC and not aftermarket per say.

As for 2 wires headed to firewall….you will possibly find they are posi-tapped to conductors out of the Integration Panel located on backside of Cab fuse panel.

It's probably wired to the hood pinswitch. It's a plunger-style switch that's usually installed along the edge of the fender, which is used to trigger the alarm if anyone pops the hood (theft deterrent, to avoid someone disco'ing the battery to steal the car quietly)
