Any tow with the new coil springs?
I have a 25 SR 4x4 and it squats pretty bad with a 3400lb camper, younger weight is 390

That’s just the reality of coil springs, look into some suspension helpers and it’ll solve everything. I have timbrens.

That’s a fairly light trailer but a Load Leveling hitch would help a lot

Does the axle bottom out on the helpers?

I don’t know what you mean by that, are you talking about the springs and the shocks bottoming out? I have the regular timbren ses and this is the squat with about 3000lbs of gravel in the bed, extreme case scenario which is beyond what most would be willing to do. I have to say that majority of people who have timbrens have said that they ride rough so keep that in mind. Me personally can’t tell a difference, practicality over comfort is my thing.

Also, your camper being that light and your truck squatting that much something seems off.

    Installed the Timbrens, thank you!!
I’m hoping there won’t be any issues with them riding on the axle when loaded as far as frame issues ect?

Nice! Please update on how they work for you, I got mine second hand, interested to know what new ones are feel like.
Don’t worry about your axles they’re built strong and the timbrens have a good return process too if you don’t like them. I have a constant load of stuff in my tundra so mine are always engaged and still holding well. I tow and haul simultaneously, no complaints puts me always over payload but idc it’s a beater. Don’t do as I do.

    Any feedback from the timbrens?

Installed them and I do not notice ride quality issues, I haven’t towed with them yet but have hauled a pallet of sod and it doesn’t squat like it did at all

Do you go down gravel roads or go off-road? I’m trying to gauge the impact to the ride quality when articulating.

They don’t touch the axle unless I’m loaded, and yes most of my driving is on county roads, I don’t notice it but then again I drive a loaded down 3/4 ton for work so I’m used to a bumpy ride, they’re very easy to remove and also have a removable spacer ( more travel in the suspension)

    Lots of stuff!
I got the SES version and found them to add some harshness to the empty ride. Timbren sent me the softer rubbers and those took most of the harshness away. Note: this is when the truck was empty.

They did their job when towing.

thank you both for the feedback!

@PBNB, when you say the softer one, do you mean the offroad bump stops? Or a special version of the SES rated for less weight?

I reached out to Timbren and they sent me the rubbers. I think they were the offroad version. They said that these would improve the empty ride.

Thanks. Kinda wish timbren would sell something in between the two.

If you include their severe service kit which is the heavy duty versions the regular ses would be the in-between version sort of.

Yes, but the severe service kit is rated at 8800 pounds of additional support and it’s purely for heavy duty trucks. SES is rated at 6600lbs and the offroad is rated at 4400. Seems like it’s missing a 5500lbs one.

Not necessarily only HD trucks, can use on half tons too if you do a lot of top heavy loads or haul and tow simultaneously
