What’s everyone replacing their pro suspension with these days?

I just rolled 108,000 miles and looking for a refresh

I recently bought 6112/5160 from Memario but offloaded them to a buddy in more need than myself

If you want equivalent or better, fox 2.5, king 2.5 or bilstein 8112. Pros and cons with all 3. Or rebuild the stock ones if you can wait for the turn around. That’s the cheaper option

All depends on your needs. You already have been in contact with @memario1214, you could ask him his suggestion based on your use and set up. I know he had some Elkas that were some of his favorites.

Username makes me think you might be in CO. Foliage says otherwise. IF so I’ve got a set of factory non pro take offs with spacers I used while my fox shocks were being rebuilt. If you go that route you can borrow them.

I'm not PRO but I have a set of Eibachs on front set at PRO height.

My 8112/8100s are super cool, but if I were in your position, I'd probably check with Fox on lead times, get some temp shocks installed and do the rebuild. My Bilstein trd pro setup was amazing, but alas not able to be rebuilt.

Going high end on any brand and you're $5k into it before you know it if you install yourself.

So Fox is now charging $280 per shock which comes out to $1,120 just for the service. Given the "downtime" lets say 3 weeks, time to install temp shocks (money = time being a dad of 2), get a new alignment ($120).. and then re install.. oh and plus shipping cost both ways.. We are pushing nearly $2,000 for a rebuild of hard and soft cost.

I love these shocks and they perform well for a factory option, but at this price point, id rather replace and have something for another 100,000 miles

Any local rebuilders in your area? That $280 is steep...and I just shipped a guy some ucas, Chicago to Boise and it was $60. Can't imagine what all four shocks would be.

Unfortunately not. Moving from CO to TN has depleted my list of reputable shops lol

and right, easily push $250 for weight and size
