The aftermarket tuning is the parts that scares me, seems once you go down that path its a constant f around. I have the TRD tune and the truck never misses a beat (fingers crossed, 150 000km so far with sc) and is more than quick enough for a truck its size.
Also in Calgary.

 

2.3" pulley, 650cc DW injector, 340lph DW pump (Tundra drop in kit), and tune.

Like you said, anything more you are reaching into the zone "I'm ready to drop in a built engine at any given moment".

 

what you have sounds like a nice bump in power done the right way and has certainly crossed my mind…
The thought of buying a new motor or trans because oops is enough for me to just keep things they way they are and be content.

 

Back when you could get supercharger from dealer, there was an upgrade, which was the same from URD, I believe like 2.375" or something, that set up is about as OEM as it gets.

Get a valve body upgrade and you are golden.
