Have driven twice. Def 1000% times better. I haven’t noticed it at all. The first time I was really trying to listen, music down etc, and could hear some Slight noise. But prob more my mind making up. Next time I drove, didn’t pay attention and didn’t notice

Which is prob why people who have ppf or whatever on the mirrors don’t see it, cause I bet it goes over those creases enough to cover it

100% caused by the bottom panel

slapped a piece of ppf on the seem at the bottom where the plate can be accessed by the camera.

    I have a 2025 platinum

I tested filing in the gap in the folding area.

    it’s not the csuse!

it’s not the gap between the hinge!

Agree I took off that thing, slapped so $2 window sealant, in there, and its been silent as could be. I actually want to tell Toyota about it when I go in. ITs an easy fix for them to make a customer happy.

You're a better man than me. I've solved a few (minor) fixes that I have no plan to tell the service department that just couldn't figure it out, without a TSB lining out the fix. It's what they're tasked with and paid for doing...I'm the one that bought their widget, they're the ones that are supposed to fix what isn't right about it.
I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that Toyota's stance, today, is "We build em, you figure out the f'n fix!" No longer the proud auto manufacturer they once were...get it off the line and out the door. Investors over customers.

i think that airbag issue recall was a big deal too with Lexus (Takata). My thought is, if i help them out, they might help me with something if i need it. That is a simple fix, and if someone asked me, id easily tell them to do it themselves. But if my dad gets a tundra who is 77 and doesn't get on this forum, I want him to be able to get a fix for it by taking it to the shop (he won't, he likes Lexus or the Yukon Denali). I figure it wouldn't hurt. And I have had great experiences with a 2003 4Runner that lasted 15 years, and a 2018 Tundra. All cars have issues, and thats an easy win for me, and hopefully someone else in the future.
