Dude the difference when crawling on my knees with the padded carpet vs on the bed floor, is night and day.

Thanks. I may pull it just for the space.

Gotcha. T-Stat is about 1 year old, and I've already drained the radiator from doing all my coolant bypasses and plan on putting fresh coolant back in.

You can also just cut a piece of cardboard to fit, and tape it to the top of the radiator to protect fins.

Thanks read last night on TEQ about being able to trim it for AC. Added to the project list....

A check for worn rear bearing is to raise the wheel and try to wiggle it left and right and top to bottom.

I might end up sliding a sheet of thin lumber under it, just in case.

    All bottoned up. :D

    Today.....again, no pics.

Went alone to the jobsite, trimmed an overgrown walnut tree and cut down a row of some sort of evergreen bushes. Did three single-axle trailer loads of that to the landfill. Alone, as wife was busy.

She came by later and we put in some 4 hours, the two of us. 8 hours total for me.

Client decided he didn't want to pay for 10 more landfill runs, told us to put the rest down with his fallen tree. He said the tree cutters would wood chip it. I sure hope so---otherwise he'll have one big mess down there! Oh well, he's paying for it, he has the right to say where he wants it.

Myself, I like to get rid of brush, not pile it up, but I'm just a guy with a 19 year old Tundra that he loves. :)

Could also put some reflectix or thin foam that’s the same height as the ridges before the 1/8 or 1/4 lumber and that will add extra insulation.

I see you posting this question in another place. I think the reason you're not getting an answer is because most people avoid this style of bulb, they're notorious for creating glare with oncoming drivers, so people know not to buy them.

Their brights aren't very good either. Just not a good design for a halogen reflector housing. The ones with the projector lens and you have to remove the reflector are pretty decent.

My experience was with Lifetime LED.
But that led design in general is not great in a halogen reflector housing.

Or were you asking which is the brand of recommend?

20250831_161633.jpgis the three attachment points under the grill for the bumper plastic clips or bolts/screws? I noticed they were missing when I leaned against the bumper tonight.

Changed the ignition coils and the oil. Snagged a blood sample to send to Blackstone for analysis. Switched to Valvoline restore and protect from M1 to see if I notice a difference between the 2 upon doing the next few oil changes.
Then I'll do another analysis. Tubes are likely normally discolored. #7 was the only one that was like finger right/loose as far as spark plugs.
Some pictures of tubes and coils. Not labeled very well I know, but was in more of hurry than I wanted to be.

So while loading a bbq onto my truck last week, the rack which holds a cutting board on it went right thru the rear window. Ordered a solid tinted rear window off ebay and following day it arrived. Finished installing it about an hour ago. How's it look?

Definitely one of few things I envy about the DC.
That and y'all have more leg/head room in general. But the power sliding rear window on my limited AC is a nice consolation. :)

Spent yesterday replacing the belt tensioner, idler pulley, fan bracket, fan clutch, upper and lower radiator hoses, and a new gates heavy duty belt. Found out my fan shroud was busted, so that's next on the to do list. Now on to replace the Mini Cooper front crank seal.7299F42A-6FA8-4172-8D2F-16D628D82D15.jpg

Whelp I’m at a loss guys and not sure what my issue is.
Truck seems to overflow coolant into the reservoir when I’m towing my camper up grades. Never have any issues doing the same grades sans trailer or around town. Monitoring the engine coolant temps and max I saw was 214 while climbing. Engine temp gauge stays in the normal range though so it’s not overheating.
In the past year I’ve replaced:
    Radiator (Denso)
    Rad cap (oem)
    Fan clutch (Napa)
    Thermostat (Aisin)
Truck has 225K and I believe the Timing Belt was done at 185K

Just seems to push coolant into the overflow reservoir and then that overflows and spits out all over the engine bay. Everything else ‘seems’ to be working correctly but I guess im not smart enough to figure this out.
I do have whining noise (like a bearing going out that sounds in rhythm of the truck idling) that I’m working id maybe it’s the water pump? I do see some dried coolant under the throttle body housing but can’t see where it’s coming from or if it’s just residual from all the times I’ve overflowed.
