Yeah, send it to me, thanks! My current house is fairly cheap, too. But I'm getting quotes nearly 4 times that amount for this other place. Although in a wildfire zone.

one thing thats kinda odd to me, my brother in law lives much more into Tucson like tanque verde (ish). I was over there a few times and also shopping on Broadway and speedway roads etc.

I can't believe how much warmer it is over there, its significantly hotter than here. I did look at my Apple Watch elevation thingy and it's actually 600 feet lower than I am, I didnt realize that driving over how much downhill you actually are. it was way over 100 there the other day and it was hardly touching 100 here like 6-7 degrees at one point.

there is my worthless AZ new realization for the day.

Drive down a road like Houghton a couple hours after sun down with all your windows down - you'll feel cold pockets as you hit the sandy areas of washes. The more developed an area is the more hard surfaces there are to hold and radiate the heat.

ya concrete jungle effect for sure.

Im out in the sticks a little more backing to like the real open desert, its like a fuckin zoo in my back yard, lol

but damn if it isnt cooler here than close by areas, which is nice. There is always more of an air moving feeling here, when I was at their house it felt stagnant.

its really wide open here and with the elevation change that must do it, I would think this would almost be classified as the Rincon foot hills, its really hilly here, etc.

there is a super huge wash close to here, Pantano, I want to see that thing full, that would be something.

My wife used to mention it when she rode on the Harley with me and we would head down a road like Old Spanish Trail.

Im not seeing what the big deal is, we got a little rain, thats it.

perhaps Im just not getting much where Im at yet?

it just seems like a little bit of rain and some thunder here and there, nothing like the violence and instability back where I came from.

but Im thinking this varies greatly depending on location here from what I can tell, weather seems spotty and not just like one giant storm coming through?

It is usually hit or miss, but the last 2 years have really sucked. We are way behind in rainfall.

We had a pretty bad microburst/ possible tornado that hit the NW area last year. They kept going back and forth on what it was, but I believe settled on microburst because the damage was so wide spread and no one could prove they saw an actual twister. Did all kinds of damage in the NW area. F'd my house up. All total was around $50k in damages. Spent about two months in Airbnb's. The roofing contractors and landscapers probably all had their best years ever. I don't think there is a house in my neighborhood without a new roof. Trees were down every where. Our neighborhood park was a lake. Worst storm I've seen.

tons of twisters , hail, derecho , etc , not fun

the weather here is remarkably stable in comparison

Yep, just over the mountain from Vail. Whole different ecosystem, too. Goes from the desert to the grasslands. About 4800-5000 ft elevation.

Yeah, about 55 minutes to work for me. Oracle would have been slightly more. So either way, I was driving. I don't think I will be driving the Tundra much anymore.

Close to two lakes! Not that I go to the lakes often, but they are there if I want.

Hour to work is substantial , is that 5 days a week?

did you do a few test runs to make sure it’s that consistently ?
